Colby_Bedell
In the IDPA magazine that came out, 5.11 is the most popular belt, and I am looking for a new belt. So the question is what do you guys use for a belt?

RePete
I use the 511 Trainer belt. I also have a Wilderness belt in 1 3/4" width and it's too wide. Go with 1 1/2"
RangerTrace
I just swapped over the NEXBELT ratchet belts for work and IDPA. I love their EDC models. The buckles aren't anything to look at really, but the adjustment on these things is so much better than a standard belt/buckle combination. SGT_Schultz
Recycled Firefighter EDC. The same thing I wear every day and hang my carry guns from. IDPA is so easy, there's no point in buying gamer gear.
Malarky112
I’ve used a hanks leather belt for 4 years now. Bought it for IDPA but has also become my EDC belt. Still going strong.
AzShooter
CR-Speed belt. Nice and heavy and will not bend under the weight of the gun or ammo pouches.
RobW
I just retired a 30 year old leather Bianchi I've been using for a Kore essentials.

Zack15
For IDPA I run the daltech gun belt. It’s sturdy and doesn’t bend. They pair well with a Garrett holster, IMO.
Richie
Shooters Connection IDPA belt, super rigid and extremely well priced
OnVacation
I use a snake eater tactical belt when I run my duty gear with retention. Im about to order another leather belt from thebeltman for an improved EDC setup.
eggman
For EDC and IDPA I wear a Comp-Tac leather belt that is reinforced with Kydex . They look good enough for everyday wear but are sturdy enough for competition use and last for years .
floater
Wilderness Instructors belt, 5 stitch 1.5", that is my every day belt. I did pick up a First Spear belt to try and I'm liking it. I've been looking hard at the Dominate Defense belt also. Edited May 30, 2020 by floater

mvmojo
Not super stiff but stiff enough for IDPA - works fine for me in IDPA ESP with a Dan Wesson Specialist 9mm 1911. And, the price is right. It's my everyday belt and my IDPA competition belt. Made by Crossbreed Holsters. https://www.crossbreedholsters.com/belts/gun-belts/reversible-nylon-belt-tan-black.html
AZ1911
I use a Wilderness with the insert. Makes it more stiff than the 5 stitch.
coastingthru
Nexbelt gets my vote also... I have tried the 5-11's, one is too bulky, and another I could not keep tight. Tried another brand, not sure what it was, did was not rigid enough. the NEXBELT ratchets closed is easily adjustable as your pants get heavier throughout the day and is rigid enough for IDPA gear. GMB
I have been using a Lead Devil belt and I like it a lot, it's very ridged and comfortable . They have different widths so one could use it for both IDPA, EDC and USPSA. Just make sure you choose the one.
Zincwarrior
Beltmen double hide belts, both for IDPA and every day. I can't recommend them highly enough. https://www.thebeltman.net/
