  1. Yep, I bought a XC for this reason. It will be my go to IDPA gun for now.
  2. I really like my P322. It has been 100% reliable with Federal Automatch but with Winchester M-22 I couldn't make it through a mag without a FTF. I did just pick up a FN 502 this week. Man, that thing is great. The 322 feels like a cheap plastic toy compared to the 502.
  3. I have had two DW 9mm 1911s. My first one had a few issues and went back to DW. 2 weeks later I had it back and it ran perfect since. My second is a PM9 and it has been flawless.
  4. I don't see anywhere that you can't have both.
  5. This is exactly what I have been trying to do. I can get the dot to stay still but it wastes way to much time. Learning to get it in the A zone and just going with it works!
  6. MG08, glad you are getting some of the issues worked out. I just gotta say, that is one heck of a reloading room!
  7. I am running a DW PM9 now as well. 10 round Dawson mags and a Dawson Ice magwell. Great setup, if you like 1911s. Since I run a .45acp Les Baer 1911 in CDP the PM9 was a logical choice for me.
  8. No doubt. That pistol has to be a slippery sucker in the Georgia humidity.
  9. I keep getting local people asking me to sell them primers or ammo from my stash. I politely decline. Sometimes being prepared is hard....

    AO1 LD Review

Thanks for the reply guys. I will just buy p09/p10 mags with the basepads.

    AO1 LD Review

I have a A01 LD coming this week. What are most of you doing for mags? Ordering them with the baseplates from CZC, just going with regular 09 mags, or switching the grips for the grip panels and 75 mags? I currently have ZERO CZ mags so it really doesn't matter to me which way I go. Just wondering if there was a preferred way. Thanks
  12. I would have no reservations about a quality aluminum framed 1911 for carry. I shoot steel framed 1911s for single stack but I carry and shoot aluminum framed 1911s A LOT.
  13. Sig Armorer trigger job is the best thing I have felt so far on the Legion. Next to that Talon grip tape or your preferred method of enhancing the grip.
  14. I have not fired the SD but I have held both SD and LD side by side. I went in thinking the SD was for me but liked the LD way better. I would do the LD Optic ready.
  15. I have the same gun and I had to go 1.11 with mine.
  16. I can tell you that I just couldn't get 147gr Blues to shoot out of my Legion. I had to go back to 125s.
  17. Sorry that happened man. That's an expensive frame to replace.
  18. I have a bunch of of recoil springs on order for multiple guns. I picked up some 9 and 8 pound ones just to try. Worst case is I am out a few buck for springs I don't need. But my next round of loads I will be bumping up the charge a bit. I won't change the OAL as I have them at the max length I can and still work in all my 9mm guns.
  19. Definitely not ahead of the extractor. I did check that I will look at the other suggestions next range visit. I have not chronoed them. I will do that next time.
  20. I have been using BBI .45 230gr for a while now. Probably about 5000 so far. Been very happy with them.
