B_RAD
Is there anything that can be done to help make for a more forcefull reset?
zhunter
Thanks @jpeters11 Further research has shown that the Burke competition trigger job would be the best fit for me if I go down this road

coryf
The order of preferred trigger feel for me: Sig Armorer > Grey Guns > Legion > X5 The Sig Armorer trigger job had a sharper/cleaner break. The grey guns is pretty close but still behind with a more "rounded" break in my amateur opinion. I have the grey guns on my standard x5.

coryf
As George stated above to get the trigger work done. I chose the Grey guns because it was less expensive and I didn't have to ship the gun back and forth to sig armorer but for sure I lIked the armorer trigger better. I borrowed a x5 from my friend for several matches that had trigger job before buying my own. Edited October 4, 2019 by coryf

af_tt
What kind of turn around time did you guys experience with the Sig Armorer? I was going to pick up a GG trigger kit but ik interested in this option. I like the GG in my standard X5.Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

cjmill87
Is there a separate trigger job only or is the trigger job from the Sig Armorer included in his Competition Level Action job?

bimmer1980
Hey guys! Sorry for offtopic, but it´s about triggers If i put an apex trigger bar in my stock xfive, would that triggerbar do anything for me, or is it just the over-travel stop that reduces the overall travel? Is there any difference in the apex bar to the xfive bar ? Otherwise it wouldn´t be worth the money i´m afraid. If i would change the Trigger, should i go with the "AE" Trigger, or the one without "AE" ? Would they both break at 90? edit: Did someone ever combine the apex trigger bar with the GG sear and springs? firerain
Keres trigger adds 1 more lbs to the pull. It does shorten the pre and over travel.
Posvar
I have the Gray Guns Trigger kit in one of my guns but am still using the OEM Sig trigger. Any benefit or reason to swap it out with the GG Trigger? If performance will be indentical I’ll just leave it alone.

Steppenwolf
Stock X5 Legion trigger is plenty good to go. Maybe support hand grip enhancement training would be less expensive for some of y'alls. The only thing my X5 Legion needed was Talon grips. It does shorten the pre and over travel.I just put the keres in my new legion (all other trigger parts stock) and notice trigger feels slightly heavier. I don't have a trigger gauge but comparing back and forth it feels ever so slightly heavier. much crisper with nearly all the pre and over travel gone tho. overall a fan and would take the extra (or perceived extra) weight with a crisper trigger than lighter stock trigger pull. Rolex
Its not GG setup but- Apex, gives me a 5 to 51/4 pull. Very short take up and reset.

I am a trigger rider and I struggle with long resets that cause the occasional “trigger freeze” on hoser stages. Looking forward to picking up my Legion when I get back from this three week work trip.... Of course the first thing I am gonna do is send it in to get the non-LCI barrel

Of course the first thing I am gonna do is send it in to get the non-LCI barrel Below are numbers from the "Sig Sauer Guy" on Youtube. Link to the video at the bottom. He made some jigs and modified a grip module so he could take all these measurements. Personally I went with Robert Burke's Competition trigger job, and although it's not the lightest, the very short trigger travel and lack of creep made a huge difference for me. I'm sure if you requested a specific trigger weight range Robert would let you know if he could achieve it. EDIT: One thing to note, about the figures below. The model he uses isn't a Legion X5, so most likely there will be some differences e.g. lower pull weight across the board.
