Everybody at work is always wanting to borrow my knife...to do some work of some sort. They don't ask to borrow a gun.

Knives are a very useful item to have along with a flashlight.

D.Hayden
Older Syderco Byrd.. 2" blade.. use it for everything. Really cheap, but sturdy, goes anywhere from razor sharp to putty knife sharp (when I take it for granted)
Flexmoney
Sorry, had to say no. New gig does not allow. Can't even keep my gun in the truck on the property. I've got a buddy that wears a pair of heavy scissors (in a leather belt pouch). His work will allow that, where they won't allow a regular knife. CHA-LEE
I carry a Boker Plus Anti-Mc ceramic blade knife. This is the first ceramic blade knife that I have owned and it is awesome. It mainly gets used to open boxes or cut cardboard and has had some heavy use over the last year. The blade has held a sharp edge for an amazing amount of time given how much paper/carboard cutting action it has seen. I think I am sold on the ceramic bladed knifes from now on. http://www.boker.de/us/pocket-knife/boker-plus/tactical-knife/01BO035.html

jrb06
I will answer the question with a question. Do I have my pants on? If so then yes I have a knife, Kershaw Vapor right now.
JFlowers
For work, I tend to carry small inexpensive folders. That way if there is ever an issue, I don't mind losing the knife. And yes, there is one in my pocket now.
