boz1911
My practice area is 6 miles but the outdoor matches I can shoot are all 1-1 1/2 hour drives each way. The company is always good though !
AzShooter
One range is 35 miles one way, next range is 40 miles each way and the third is 75. I only shoot the far one once a month.
BhmJeep
Back yard range. 400 yards across the street to dial in long distance stuff. Matches 45 min local drive. Will travel a couple of states if it's a good one. Since I'm new to the USPSA/IDP world, what makes a good match?
havotec1
Our local club is only 10 minutes from my home, great range and members. There is a match of some kind every weekend.
steel1212
I have a range I can test loads and zero on about 3 miles from my house but no running and gunning. For me any matchs its a hour each way for the closest and then goes up.
bayoupirate
Right on the back end of the property. 1/4 mile from my back door. Can't use that as an excuse.
Kyle O
Back yard range. 400 yards across the street to dial in long distance stuff. Matches 45 min local drive. Will travel a couple of states if it's a good one. Since I'm new to the USPSA/IDP world, what makes a good match? Simple, good folks, good food, and good prizes! Honestly, there has only been 1 match that I didn't care for sofar, and it had to do with stages sharing bays, felt a little unsafe even though it was ran appropriatly. sdwilliams
Closest is about 20 minutes from me but the only time I can go there is for matches as I am not a member and unfortuntely, there's a 2-year waiting list. Another roughly the same distance that we go to for matches; not sure if/how I can pratice there. Anything else ranges from 1-2.5 hrs. GrumpyOne
The indoor range I practice at is 3 minutes away, outdoor range is 1 hour. XDNiner belongs to the Gainesville Target Range, where he practices, I don't, so I go to a Lake City, FL range in the national forest. Believe it or not, the matches I usually shoot are 13 hours, ONE WAY, at BGSL. But they only get shot on vacation....

TerryO
Nearest USPSA Club, just over the hill. Of course it's West Texas flat so that means over 90 miles one way, next closet 120 miles. That's why my brand new F250 has 13000 miles on it in 5 months. Nearest IDPA Club, 15 miles.
