  1. It puts the round much closer to the chamber this limiting the chance of the round nose diving into the feed ramp. Mags nowadays are 40/10mm so they can hold it as well
  2. Way too overpriced for the division it competes in
  3. Send it to Gans Guns. Buy the parts you want and ship everything to him. He'll make it in a month or less for you. I know plenty of people who've have it done. He does great work

    which cz

Nothing feels like a 1911. The triggers are not super crisp but still good for what they are. The accuracy of the CZ guns will rival your 1911s
  5. Send it to CZC for $200 they do an amazing job. You can use any sight you wish to in the future. You won't regret it
  6. I have 2011 open guns and my buddy has Czechmates. For the money, the CZ are very solid and the grip is a large frame closer to your shadow 2 but not exact. The trigger is very light yet spongy if you go up in mainspring weight you can get a more crisp trigger with a heavier break. The reset, this is where the 2011s shine. The Czechmate has a very long reset in general and definitely way more compared to the 2011s. Furthermore, since the CZ barrel unlocks on the slide stop pin they send you a few because it WILL break after 10k+ rounds but with minor for steel challenge probably a little longer. The magazines, they come with a few but they suck. There's a video on YouTube how to tune them properly with Grams internals. Or you can send them to Grams and they will tune for you. If the Czechmate is all that's on your budget than by all means you won't be dissatisfied. However, since you have shot 2011s you will be curious at some point. You could certainly save some money looking at "smaller" builders like Rafferty, Carne Customs, RogueTac Customs, D2 customs. Heck, you can go my route and by the Brazos short block open kit and build it out for just a little more than the checkmate. I'm enjoying mine in major pf currently
  7. I use it in 40 major for uspsa and it is awesome. Meters very well, SD is normal and it's not temp sensitive
  8. Sounds like you need to tune the feed lips. Might be too wide

  10. Gans guns in Pa. He did a gun very similarly to your situation within a month for my buddy. It runs great almost a year later
  11. Get the EGW gun works ignition kit. Will last for a very long time. Most builders nowadays are utilizing it
  12. Badminton, ping pong, flag football. Ammo and primers are a hard find right now lol
  13. Get the barrel reamed and start at 8.5gr of VV3N38 @ 1.160. You should be close or right at major
  14. Used their 180gr jhp in 40 for nats two years in a row. Great bullets
  15. Send it to cz custom. For $205 they'll cut the slide for their plate system and for another $70 they'll build you a sight plate that carries irons on it
  16. Ck arms builds them. Should be fine for a limited gun
  17. Buy the short block open it from brazos custom. Recently purchased and finished it out. It's awesome for the money and the fitting is superb of all the parts (slide, frame, one piece barrel and comp from barsto, slide racker)
  18. Wtf . Did you buy it knowing it was broken?
