^This. I have both, and prefer the weight of the Legion grip. I bought a TXG grip and turned my X5 into a FrankenLegion. I shot CO, and like the 21rd. mags with X5.

I’ve got 4 Romeo 1 sights. The oldest has around 7500 rounds on an X5. Mine holds zero, bright 6moa dot. I’ve had no problems and recommend them.

The Romeo 1 will also work with very minimal modifications. I was skeptical, but had an extra one. You have to open the holes in the scope up to accept the proper M4 screws, and a Romeo 1 will mount in the cut without an adapter plate. Those are the only 3 scopes that work w/o plates currently.

Anymore going on with the AK-V? I keep looking at it, trying to resist. It’s been in and out f my cart several times today.

Why would tuning weight to 45oz. matter?

1000rds.? Some of us would be changing 3 times a month or more. My .2 is that’s a bit excessive.

Expect a very full case and a lot of unburned powder. So many better choices in 9. My experience in reduced AA9 is with 44 magnum. Dirty with large amount of unburned powder. Full power loads were very clean burning.

Primer pocket crimps don’t blow out. They are reamed out or swaged away with a tool. I have this issue if a crimped pocket sneaks into the process.

Can anyone confirm if this sight matches any other footprints?

Not in shooting, just the gunk left in the comp from FMJ. One of my guns did not care for the profile of Precision Delta JHP. I switched to RMR and Everglades, no problems feeding. If you like the FMJ profile, try Montana Gold CMJ, no exposed lead base.

Didn’t know they were putting LCI barrels in the full size. Probably recycling them after being turned in by us Legion owners!

Romeo 1 takes a 1632 too.

That “lift and drop” on my Legion seemed much less noticeable after Sig changed out my LCI barrel.

Seems once you buy all those pieces individually, you could have sent it to Burke for the same or less money.

Not without an adapter plate. The M17 cut fits the DPP & and Romeo 1 Pro. And the Romeo 1 if you drill out the scope holes a little.

Why doesn’t the 40 slide work on the Legion FCU?

A really good local CO shooter recommended I get the best optic from the company with the best warranty, because they all break. That translated into the Vortex Razor. Have to admit I haven’t taken the advise because I’m invested in other sights right now, but if I were starting from scratch, that’s probably what I’d do. Japanese optic, not Chinese or other, and when it breaks, Vortex will have you taken care of in days.

Mine really tightened up after I got the non-LCI barrel swap from Sig. I’m using 135 Blue conicals, .3555”. I bet I could get even more with a .356”. I have my X5 FCU with Gray trigger in it too, so that helps.

If you want a SS get a SS, but realize it is a dying division. Participation is nearly zero around me. Brooke's advice is spot on.

Has anyone heard about the early background checks as in years past?

$934 out the door, not too bad. I know I wouldn’t waste a bunch of time and energy for $20 or so.
