I got my 40 full size today from CDNN. Put the upper on my Legion lower and ran a mag. I like it. Any one make adjustable sights?

I get 23 in mine with stock springs/followers and TTI bases. I load with a LULA, and don’t have any feeding or reloading problems. I use the 12# spring. 8 mags set up this way. I’ll count myself lucky I guess.

My answer to the OP was about the X5, which comes with 21rd. mags. I have no experience with lengthening the 17rd. mags, but I assume the TTI +5/Grams guts combo is the best way to get to 23.

If you have the money and want to do it, no reason not to. Your theory of where to take off weight is correct.

Get the TTI bases. Keep the stock spring & follower. I get 23 in mine. Cheaper than replacing everything, and no tiny hex screw to strip or loose.

One Shot Case Lube. Dries without residue, no need tumble after using.

The Shooters Connection belt is very rigid, and a few bucks cheaper than some others. I have several, and Chuck ships very quickly.

There are so many variables in open guns, hard to load for every variation and not be too hot for some, too slow for others. If you are serious about open, you need to load for it.

Ok, I follow now. Yeah it appears to adjust out the take up, but the creep at the wall will still be there. I think that is where the Gray guns kit with the polished sear and pin comes in. I do not have an adjustable trigger right now, but with the GG kit in my Legion, I am sub 2#. If I had a wish, it would be a more snappy, distinct reset, but I am more than pleased as is. Best $129 I’ve spent on it so far.

Just sold my Saiga with an eye on getting a VR80. I see there is an IPSC version floating around with orange accents, magwell, skeleton trigger, bigger mag release button, muzzle brake. Anyone have one of these, and is it worth $200 over a regular VR80?

I’m sorry, I read that like 10 times, and I’m not getting it. Are you asking a question or making a statement? The AC is a trigger with both pre & over travel adjustment. You replace your Legion trigger with the AC trigger. Some guys are using the Grayguns kit, and subbing in the AC trigger to get what they want in a competition trigger pull.

I tightened up my Safariland pouches for my MPX, and they work just fine.

This isn’t exactly legal. You can turn a pistol into a rifle, as described in this thread, but once that receiver has made that trip, it can’t be converted back into a pistol. Be careful.

Mine broke in 3 pieces as well.

I converted a 3 wheeled baby jogger into a 3 gun cart, similar to the Rugged Gear, for half the cost. A used jogger can be found for next to nothing on Craigslist. If you shoot 3 gun or PCC, add some ATV long gun clamps, if not, skip them. Big tires go over any terrain. I carry my shooting bag, cooler, tools, Ryobi fan, umbrella.

For games, I think it’s too expensive for what we would use it for. If you want green, have you considered the Holosun offerings with green reticles? If it’s for real life stuff, I only have experience with Trijicon.

On a P320? You're mistaken. A P320 grip module is no more a frame than grip panels for a 1911 are.

That’s a little better than factory MPX mags, but still 3x more than an AKV mag. ARV will rock!
