Trigger return spring would help. My pull went up a pound cause now it’s under tension from the new trigger/bar position. But the take up issue is long gone, reset is great.

Unless said door swings from both sides, it isn't fair and equitable to all shooters. Just about every door prop I run into is hinged on the left, meaning a righty will be holding gun in right, swings door with left, no sweeping unless you're uncoordinated. Leftys exaggerate the muzzle to safely open the door. I'm not advocating getting rid of doors, and like most things, I've adapted to living in a righty world. Just pointing out that doors are not fair and equitable. I deal with it.

So does it actually contain 1911 fire control parts? The trigger and ambi definitely look 1911. Firing pin safety or not?

Yes I have both, and yes they interchange. I had no loss of accuracy or function when I did so. But the turn around time is only a week for Sig to replace your LCI barrel, so the sooner you call, the sooner you’ll get it back. And it is a very accurate barrel. Just my opinion, but I’d be less apt to buy an X5 with the LCI barrel. It is an optics ready slide, and it would be less than optimal in CO with that barrel. Just get it replaced. It’s free, and you’ll have a more desirable gun.

You will like the FS trigger. Almost no take up or over travel. The pull weight will actually feel a pound heavier because you are pre-tensioning the trigger reset spring. There is a hack to lessen it with a fishing lure split ring, you can find it on YouTube. I wish I could have that type trigger in my Legion. That’d be the perfect gun.

I had to send 1 mag too cause they test fire it after. And the replacement barrel is very accurate. I definitely like my Gray trigger better than the Legion’s though.

I had a spare genuine dot module laying around. Went in the fake cmore, brightened the dim dot. Used it on a .22 only.

I had a case blow out at the ramp on my X5 Legion with a very minor load of Prima V. Head stamp was Perfecta. All the other various cases before and after looked normal with no bulges.

I got my rebate code, but Legion TXG grips are out of stock. Still waiting on my case & coin.

I had this happen to me Monday night. 3rd shot of the 2nd string, I heard a lighter than normal pop. Much louder than a squib, but no slide recoil, and I felt a face full of unburned powder. I stopped myself, and ran the slide to show clear, and noticed brass in the chamber that wouldn't come out. I then noticed the extractor missing from the slide. I locked the slide back manually, and cleared the brass in the safety area with a punch. A buddy found the extractor, intact, on the floor. The brass was headstamped "Perfecta" which I recall seeing in Walmarts a couple years ago. I pulled the slide plate off and reassembled the extractor, went out to the plate rack and cleaned the rack 5-6 times, no problems. I shot the stage over again, and it was fine. The brass had a ring bulge all the way around, and a blow out at 6 o'clock. All my other brass before and after it were fine and normal. The gun was a Legion lower with my X5 upper, 11.5# recoil spring on a Springer steel guide rod.

We’ve all shot 2 stages in 1 bay, and I think it sucks. No matter how it’s ran, it’s slow and annoying. Open Nats had 6 stages in 3 bays, one on each day. I’d rather they had a medium course in those bays, and just reduce the stage count.

A heads up, Proven Arms is pre-ordering R1Pros for $285. Haven’t seen a better price. And they won’t charge your card until it ships. And they have 21rd. mags for $32 for 3 or more.

Don’t sweat the mag well. It’s not legal in carry optics. And all grips, slides, and FCUs are interchangeable.

I shot my SFX yesterday with. C-more STS, not a 2. Thought the lens a little small. I have a couple RTS2 on the bench, and wanted to try that. The plate fits, but the sight overhangs the plate and is recessed on the slide, so the RTS2 won’t fit on the gun. So, what sights will fit on this gun with the supplied plates? I know Vortex Viper & Venom fits, so I assume a Burris Fastfire will too.

Sounds like you have an upright Serendipity. Cut the legs off & convert it to a Slide Ride, mount it to an aluminum single sided mount. Will be much more rigid than the plastic legs held by 3 screws on one side.
