  1. I have TTI +2 on my 21rd. mags, and +5/6 on my 17rd. mags. I like that I don’t have to use Grams spring kits to get 23rds. in either tubes. The both fit the gauge.
  2. If your effort is to avoid being a theft target, keep in mind, thieves love stealing tools too. Maybe a gym duffel bag. No one wants your dirty gym clothes.
  3. I’m kicking this gun around in my head, and came up with the same question. Having Patriot mill a standard Stock II May be the only way.
  4. SC Sectional in 2002, they had random draw from the squad list on who went to chrono. Not sure if that was supported by the rules at the time, but it did move the match along.
  5. How did it fail? Curious, I have one on my Legion. Wondering how these might fail. I have a Romeo 1 I modified the screw holes to fit the Legion as back up.
  6. 17# and CCI pistol primers. Never tried CCI rifle.
  7. That’s the beauty of the X5, modularity.
  8. I did the GG trigger and Springer grip tape. Added TTI base pads to get 23. I’ve had good luck with Romeo 1’s and 1 Pro. That’s it.

    Canik TP 9SFX

When I had a Canik, I took the factory rod apart and tried aftermarket Glock recoil springs. The factory rod’s diameter was too large to use Glock springs. I ended up using an uncaptured Glock guide rod so I could use readily available Glock springs.
  10. Did you snag one couple weeks ago when they were $699?
  11. Could you be thinking of transition Gen 4s with front serrations? I’ve seen those on Gunbroker.
  12. I’m less than impressed with the trigger in my 19.5. Stacks badly, the wall is more like a foothill. My favorite Glock I’ve ever had was a 34.4 with a DK trigger. If it was an MOS, I would have kept it.
  13. I’d support doing away with the prize table and lower the match fee. I’ve gotten some nice stuff off tables, but I’d just buy it if I wanted it. I bet match directors would welcome not having to bug vendors for table schwag. How much could we save from the average Sectional match entry fee if we did away with the prize table?
  14. Don’t have a Honcho, but I’ve broken several links on regular 2011’s. Never heard of a broken Honcho locking block.
  15. It’s an 012 for a 1911. They came with shims to use 2011 frames. Later versions came with manual locks to lock the gun in. It’s usable, but I added a bungee cord for retention between stages and make ready. More modern stuff out there now.
  16. I’d put a WTB ad in the classified. Most people that buy this gun will shoot CO, and have laying around in a box. I keep mine for resale value. Nevermind, missed your last post.
  17. Looks solid. Have you measured the holstered gun for distance to the belt for compliance? The newer holsters appear much more usable than the older ones I had.
  18. I got several Slim Tuks from Midway recently when they were on sale for $16. I have the P365XL, so I put a little heat on the muzzle end to open it up for the longer slide. Then I found the XL works in the Glock 48 Slim Tuk as is. Decent holsters for the price, but would be better with a claw to pull the butt in.
  19. Just got an email from C-More, the C3 is on sale for $699.
  20. This. Matches around me are at capacity, and I fear walk up registration will soon be a thing of the past. There was an attempt at a competition oriented magazine called Gungames back in the mid 90s. It was glossy and I even got a letter to the editor published in an issue, but it fizzled out. I don’t think USPSA magazine would sell off the rack. Just not the readership out there that isn’t already getting it with a membership. We used to get good press in American Handgunner, which was the last magazine I subscribed to.

    Legion accuracy

LCI is short for loaded chamber indicator. The LCI barrels had a slot in the hood thru which one could see the case if the chamber was loaded. The original P320 X5 did not have this feature, but the first Legions on the market did. Sig swapped these barrels out if contacted and asked to do so. Many of us noticed improved accuracy with the replacement non-LCI barrels.

    Legion accuracy

Yeah, my replacement barrel was much better too.
  23. My opinion only, the use will drive the choice of which dot to get. The gold standard for defensive use dots is the RMR Type 2. The SRO is said to be “not for duty use,” and is Trijicon’s effort to cross over into the competitive world. The Holosun 508 series gets great reviews and appears to be rugged enough for defensive use. For competition, it’s pay your money, take your chance. I have Romeo 1, Romeo 1 Pro, DPP, C-More RTS2. Just get 2 of whatever you choose. If I were starting from scratch, I’d probably go SRO 5moa. As rugged as you can hope for, big lens. Carry it or compete.
  24. I have one in my SBR lower that splits time between 9mm and 223, and works great with both calibers. Great trigger for the price.
