  1. I would ditch the tool-less guide rod, I tried one and the little lever bent after a disassemble and jammed up my gun big time. Luckily it was just in practice and not during a major match or a match in general. Just get a regular full length guide rod and be done with it.
  2. Stock trigger, it sets back closer to the frame than the EG trigger.
  3. Saw a post on Fbook today that said in June sometime.
  4. You don't have to do any sear change or hammer change if you don't want to. Just change the hammer spring, plunger spring, firing pin spring, extended firing pin and recoil spring. Other than that, smooth and polish everything! I have 2 of them and that is all I have done to mine and I've shot them for 3 seasons now on just those changes alone. There is no fitting involved at all with those changes. If you change sears and hammer there will be fitting involved. It's not hard to do, but if you want small changes and no fitting, go the route I did. My trigger pulls are 6.5#da and 3#sa.
  5. When I updated to the new app, only did it on one of the nooks to make sure it works, the new icon on the home screen doesn't do anything. If you tap it, it doesn't do anything at all and I have to go into the settings feature and access the app from there and it works fine. However the new app on the home screen looks different than the old icon. The app in the settings menu looks like the old icon but runs the newest version. Why does the new icon not work and how do I fix it so I don't have to go through the settings feature? Thanks for the help!.
  6. I am also looking to switch from xtreme plated 124gr to a coated bullet. I'm getting shotgun pattern groups from 15/20 yards and out and it is killing me! My groups with MG 124 CMJs are great, so I know it's not my shooting that is doing it, but I need a cheaper alternative to them. Trying some Blue Bullets 125gr this week so we'll see how they work.
  7. What weight of springs is he running & what primers is he using?
  8. Are you shooting limited minor? If so, shooting limited minor is going to handicap you when you start shooting out of D class. One thing that sticks out is that you aren't breaking down the stages correctly and that is causing you to do a lot of standing reloads. 1st person video is not the best video for people to see what you need to improve on. We can't see your feet, your body, the way your head is turning towards targets, etc....
  9. Are you sure that it is the mouth of the mags swelling? I had an issue with my trojan that the bullet below the one in the chamber, was getting pushed forward a bit by the disco rail and was hanging up on the feed ramp area. Also check the slide stop and that your bullets aren't rubbing up against it and will pass by it okay. I had to shave mine back a bit so they wouldn't touch it at all and believe that was part of my problem as well.
  10. Don't cut the firing pin spring. Replace it and try it with a new one.
  11. Thanks everybody for coming out and shooting the 2015 Oklahoma Production and Single Stack Sectional. We had a great turnout and I think the match went pretty well. THANK YOU to all of you that helped after the match was complete!!!! Scores will be posted to USPSA in the next few days. A special thanks goes out to Mike Pinto-OK Section Coord. as he gave me a lot of good advice and help with putting on my first major match as a match director. Also to Greg Goode who ran scores all weekend and ironed things out with all of the corrections and awards. It was a tremendous help!!! Thanks again to all of the R.O.s that volunteered their time to work the match, I can't thank you enough, you guys were awesome! Look for more inforation about the upcoming 2016 Oklahoma Sectional soon. Thanks again, Chad

  13. I load to 1.113 with no problems. Tanfos and CZ Shadows are known for having short chambers/throats.

  15. Looks like the stages kicked your ass. As a Master at 63% I would more upset with my performance than the stages For the record, I sucked worse....but then I had a broken gun Ouch
