  1. I prefer the CRSpeed WSM II over the DAA holster. I've had both daa regular and the magnetic and I found the draw consistency, for me, is better out of the CRSpeed. Retention is good on both holsters so to me that was a draw.
  2. My guns are all "racy" I'm an M class shooter, I know how to shoot and I know the triggers are heavy out of the box. With just the spring replacements that I posted and along with polishing, my trigger pulls are 7#da, 3#sa and smooth. I have felt other peoples triggers with all of the "racy" parts and there is minimal difference, to me, in feel under the gun when the timer goes off. To post that all of the racy mods are necessary to get a good trigger pull is not correct and I've posted almost this same response in almost all of these threads where people try to convince new tanfo owners that all of these mods are necessary when they're not.
  3. I use 2 piece sears in my guns and I don't see a need to replace them. You don't "need" the one piece sear, titan hammer, extreme delta hammer, PD Bolo, etc....That's not the popular thing to say on this forum but it's the truth. I've had my guns since 2012-ish and I have only replaced the hammer spring, guide rod, front sight, plunger spring, firing pin & firing pin spring and recoil spring, along with the heavy polishing etc. But I only use federal primers in my productions guns but that is my choice, so depending on primer selection, you may need a heavier hammer spring but that's about it. Now let the flaming begin...
  4. Anything new to announce? I haven't seen or heard anything in a while and we are just about 2 weeks out for the match.
  5. Trigger reach on tanfo is shorter than a shadow. I too had a hard time reaching the da on a cz and that's why I switched as well. Both are great guns, the new shadow 2, is supposed to eliminate the long da reach and be comparable to the tanfo. But there is no telling when those will be available in the U.S. Trigger reach will be very similar to the P09 with the medium backstrap.
  6. Yes the stock 3 is a great pistol and worth the money. I shot with one for a while before sticking with my stock 2s. Out of the box it will shoot, you will want to do a trigger job etc but you can shoot it as is. I believe the coating is the only difference between the special and standard but could be wrong.
  7. Match is complete and scores are posted on practiscore under 2016 Red Dirt Rumble. There is also some pics and video on the Oklahoma Sectional Page on facebook and can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/Oklahoma-Section-Uspsa-198471936839045/ I'm not sure why some of the video's are a little blurry, they were recorded in HD, but you can see the action pretty well other wise. Congrats to all of the winners, I know it was hot and muggy and 90% of the people left after the match was complete, but we will get those trophies and medals mailed out to you as soon as possible. Thank you to all of the R.O.s and range staff, Match Director Greg Goode, RM Cary Rowton, all of them worked very hard in the heat for over 4+ days to make the match happen. So if you see them or are friends with them on facebook please send them a simple thank you note for a job well done. Thanks to all of our sponsors, Make Ready Pro-Shop, Shooting-Performance, CBR Contracting, CZ, Tougher-N-Nails Targets and Bullets. Prizes were given out via random draw and distributed during the match. Luis Renova for all of the Art/Logo work that he did for the match, hit him up on facebook if you need that type of work completed. We all hope you enjoyed the match, especially the cool start to the day, and we hope to see you all again next year in cooler weather! Chad OK Section Coordinator
  8. The Match is full and it looks like it is going to be a hot and dry week ahead going into Saturday. There will be water available for everyone but please be mindful and bring some gatorade, extra water, cooling towel etc to keep yourself hydrated and cool. There is plenty of shade available on each bay but it is going to be hot so prepare accordingly.
  9. Did you take out the extractor and clean it between every 300 - 400 rounds? It gets very dirty behind the extractor and if you are going into the 700 rounds without cleaning that could be an issue there.
  10. So are the stages that are posted the correct stages? They look very very similar to last years stages...
  11. The match is almost full so if you want to shoot a fantastic tune up match before nationals the following week. This is the match to shoot! Only 12 spots left! http://matchsignup.org/match/default.php?matchid=603
  12. 1 Procedural for reloading from the belt + 1 per shot fired from that same magazine until another mag change was completed using the correct magazine staging location.
  13. This is going to be an awesome match and a great tune up for the production nationals match the following weekend!

    Ipsc targets

However we just heard back from troy and he said that cutting targets was ok.

    Ipsc targets

The way that rule reads is that I would have to have either a hard cover or no shoot target to make up for the missing part of the cut one? That's what I read and it confused me, maybe I'll ask Troy next week at SSNats to be sure. 4.2.4.2 says it is OK to cut the target to simulate hard cover. What confuses you? Um possibly this, Such targets must be fitted with a replacement non-scoring border, which must extend the full width of the cut scoring area (see Rule 4.2.2).

Can you provide an example please?

    Ipsc targets

I couldn't find anything in the rules, maybe I missed it, but can you cut ipsc targets in half etc. I know you can on the classic targets but not sure on the other. Thanks!
  19. I'm running 125gr rn blue bullets at 1.083 oal with 3.3gr of N310 at 131pf and a 9# recoil spring.
  20. The extreme shooters reduced grip, can't remember the exact name of it, is what you are looking for. I have wide hands but shortish fingers and the extreme shooters grip is perfect feeling to me. The regular grips feel huge and I'm glad I went that route with the gun I bought.
