  1. I have a new magnetic insert block that I tried for my limited with the square trigger guard. I am going to use my kydex holster for now so I would sell you that insert blocck if you want it. PM me if interested...
  2. That's where the slave pin works well, put the spring in the trigger assembly as it would sit in the frame. Use the slave pin to hold it in place, then put the whole trigger assembly back in the frame and use the slave pin as a guide to install the other pin or henning screws.
  3. R.Os and Match Staff will shoot on Saturday 24th. Main match is on Sunday Oct 25th. 1 day format for both.
  4. The 2015 Oklahoma Production and Single Stack Sectional will be held on October 25th, 2015 at The United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, OK. We will have 10 stages with a minimum of 250 rounds required if you don't miss. Sign-ups start today at http://matchsignup.org/match/default.php?matchid=437 Match T-shirts will be available for purchase separately, more info on that coming soon. This is a Trophy only match for Production and Single Stack. Sign-up early as space is limited to 120 competitors and we hope to sell out quickly.
  5. Welcome Mike! If you haven't already made it to a match, we shoot USPSA at USSA on the 2nd Sundays of the month. I usually run 7 stages with about 170 rounds required if you don't miss. Next month in June, we will be having a classifier match. So if you aren't classified in USPSA this would be a good time to come out and get an initial classification. I'll be putting on 4 classifiers and 3 field courses for a total of 165 rounds. Sign-in at 0930 at the lodge and start at 10, $20 match fee. Let me know if you have any questions about USPSA or our matches. Thanks, Chad
  6. Agree with everything I read above but I don't think your turn and draw technique was ever mentioned. 1) You need to snap your head around to look at the target. You are basically turning your head to the side and then spinning around, almost robotic. 2) I would suggest you pivot off of your right foot instead of your left. You are turning and swinging your right leg all the way around. It is faster to turn off of your strong side, keeping the gun in one position, as you snap your head around and turn to draw. Keep up the hard work! for reference, watch Ben's hips and how he turns to get an idea of what I am talking about.
  7. Probably not as I believe the limited pro is longer.
  8. Yeah that can be a hassle for sure. I've ordered parts from eric's shop twice and from stoeger and from henning but at least they are readily available from different sources now.
  9. That titan hammer is not very eye appealing, to me anyways.
  10. They really are not any harder to do than a cz. Primer depth and types of primers is probably your cause of light strikes. CCI Primers are hard, I've seen cz's not set them off too.
  11. Yes it is very easy yo set the guns up to run, IF, you're not trying to chase the last little ounce out of the trigger. Both of mine have ran from day one...
  12. Would he be able to start in SA since they have a safety? Or would he have start in DA since the pistols are capable? No....if you are wanting him to shoot in the production division the hammer has to be down. Single Action guns are not allowed in production so if he is only wanting to start in single action mode, then he should shoot in the limited division or limited 10.
  13. did I hear you gulp? Nope, this was the 1st I have heard of it.
  14. What year were they made? Sorry for the small questions about this but I am curious to see how common it is with the newer models.
  15. What happened with your limited frame and how hot were you loading?
  16. Okay, when adding the Henning base pads to the k40 mags, he states that you need to shave the back of the pad to get it to fit the gauge. Is this still correct? If so, what in particular needs to be done to fit the gauge? Also I have been loading to 1.145 oal with Montana Gold 180gr CMJ with no issues of dragging, jams or anything like that. Given I have only put about 150 rounds through mine at this point, but there haven't been any issues with the bullets hanging up in the mags.
  17. ^...yes those are the ones. I have two other pair of extreme grips and one came with screws, one did not come with any. But the first pair, the ones that came without screws, I bought about 1.5 years ago.
  18. Share shipping with the others and order some from eric's shop. My new grips I ordered for my limited, through ben, came with black torx.
  19. Ah...didn't even think about that...duh.
  20. I have the Henning Magwell on my limited gun and it gets dings fairly easily. I just got it about a month ago to give you a time frame. Is there anything I can do to it or get done to it to harden the inside part where it won't ding so easily? Some of the dings, more or less gouges, are pretty decent for the low amount of reloads that I have done. I used dummy rounds too.
