  1. That's good to know, kind of...but I would expect it to work from the time I received it. Maybe he'll have to give them a call.
  2. Ok we will have to check the mag widths, I thought about the grip possibly being installed wrong but it looked right.
  3. Try ordering from the stoeger shop.....last 3 times now it has been painful! Still waiting on an order I placed on the 18th, with no communication from them, for some items I need to get to me before nationals next week. They're stock info is still not updated as everything I ordered was supposedly in stock, but wasn't. So now it's a waiting game on seeing if it gets here before wednesday.I am actually waiting on order from stoeger, and called to confirm items were in stock. I just feel at lose lately with some of these companies. Well lucky enough they just got in the stuff, that I needed, yesterday so my order was shipped out and should be here by Tuesday at the latest. Thank goodness, because going to nationals without a backup gun would not be smart. Now both my stock 2's will have identical set-ups.
  4. A buddy has a new extreme shooters grip and the stock sti .40sw 140mm mags won't drop free from the gun. They feel very snug as they are going in and he can hear and feel them rubbing on the inside of the grip. They will not even start to drop free so we know it's not the mag release etc...Do you guys think the grip is bad or that it's the stock sti mags? He had some 9mm 2011 mags and they drop free no problem, of course I would assume they are a bit smaller in diameter since they are 9mm. Any ideas?

  6. There is a nice limited for sale in the classifieds.
  7. Long arm of the spring goes to the front pointing toward the end of the frame. The small arm is pointing down into the trigger itself. It rides on the back of the trigger. I hope that makes sense, it's a little hard to explain without pics. Did you use a slave pin to put in the trigger return spring in? If not re-install of that spring is pretty hard to do because you have to depress the spring by hand or by using a punch.
  8. This ^^^^ I've bought all of my extra mags from Greg. Always fast and top notch service!
  9. It shoots better than I do. It groups as good as any gun I've ever shot. I'm going to do some group shooting this week with some factory ammo this week just to make sure. Then don't worry about it and just shoot it!
  10. Has anyone, that has more than one stock 2, noticed a difference between an older model and the new batch that just came in? I have noticed several differences in the one I bought in '13 and the new one I just picked up this week.
  11. I paid $920 for my 1st stock 2 from the sportmans depot.
  12. Ah, I didn't check the mag capacity as I thought it was 15 but I see that is for the P09. That could be an interesting project as well...
  13. I'm thinking of taking in a project gun and turning it into a limited gun. I know cts/ts or what not but that is not what I am wanting to do or curious about. Has anybody ever turned a .40sw SP01 into a limited gun, set up in either single action or with the current da/sa trigger? Any issues with an SP01 in .40, reliability issues, parts breakage etc? I know I would change sights, grips, hammer etc and add a magwell and mag extensions. Any thoughts?
  14. Yes there are at least 3 squads that have more that 5 spots available so please go and sign up and get your buddies to sign up as well! We are currently half way to our max and have some really good shooters coming in for the match. Thanks guys!
  15. Hmm if that is the kit and the hammer spring is 13# then you should be getting lighter trigger pulls. Mine are 7# and 2.5# and all I have done is polish, polish, polish and smooth up some rough spots, along with clipping 2 coils off the stock plunger spring and added a 13# hammer spring.
  16. I am the match director for that match and the info can be found here http://matchsignup.org/match/default.php?matchid=437 There is also a listing here on enos as well. I will bump it to the top so it should get more exposure.
  17. That was happening with my bladetech that is made for a 3 but I am using it for my 2 as well. I just relieved a portion of the holster where the mag release was hitting. All good now.
  18. 1.113oal with 124gr rn xtreme bullet over 3.8gr of vv n310 at power factor of 133. All rounds feed and shoot fine.
  19. I paid $920 for mine over a year ago.
  20. This is what I have been saying in all of my posts. I am glad someone is agreeing with me!
  21. Yes I handled the gun along side mine and everything was fine on the gun. There wasn't a need, from what I could tell, to change anything. Unless he was having issues but he told me the gun was running fine. If it's running fine, don't mess with it.... But didn't you just say we shouldn't be changing parts? Changing unnecessary parts, see my post above. Besides the BASIC parts list, as I posted in the other thread, you don't NEED all of this other stuff you guys are doing.
  22. Conversions aren't legal in either uspsa or ipsc so don't even look at doing it.
