RickT
I priced out 115gr, not 124gr, but BBI was just a snitch less than Acme per thousand, maybe $1.00. Bayou was a few dollars more
jnr88
SNS or other HiTek coated bullets. At the velocities the M&P shoots jacketed and plated bullets are do nothing.
GJGary
Acme and BBI can't beat them.
CZ85Combat
Blue Bullets. 3600 for 242.00 shipped. That's $0.067 each and there are discounts available that will bring it down to $0.063 each http://www.thebluebullets.com/product-p/1mfr-125-9.htm
echotango
I might try 135gr. Blue and Black are the exact same price. $235/3300. Thx Edited January 15, 2016 by echotango
Bamboo
^^^^ I would try some Bayou 135's ($224/3300 + shipping) also if that is the direction you are going. I tried a few different brands of 135 grain bullets and for me the Bayous won out.
SSGJohnV
If you are located close to a manufacturer you can save on shipping by picking up in person. With BBI Chandler shoots local to me. I would send him an email and pick up when he shot a local. Also look into ibejiheads. Alex Salazar is good people too. I will never go back to bare lead, that's for sure. Plated didn't give me as much "bang" for my buck, so I shoot coated in all divisions.
jcc7x7
Bayou's shoot great out of all my 9s
a matt
Order in bulk like 30k plus. Get a group of friends and go together on a bulk purchase. Rainier is a great choice and their bullets can handle major velocities. All their 9mm .355 and .38 bullets can handle Open Major speeds not just a certain bullet in one profile. That was you can include any shooter that wants to get in on the discount.... Good luck..

Bamboo
So, what is the double bonus with .356" bullets? I'm not seeing it.

Foxbat
So, what is the double bonus with .356" bullets? I'm not seeing it. Me curious too, about to place new order with them.
Foxbat
I think he means the .356 38 Super bullets, with them you get an additional discount down to $87, but they are not good for Major.
rhowell309
I'm curious. Does she shoot that much to make it worth saving ~$20 per 1000? Going from a bullet you already buy and stock in a large quantity. You should be having absolutely zero issues with it vs issues with coatings and some powders. Development of a load. Change back any forth between die settings. Obviously you have the means to afford it with 30k of MG on hand. Those were some of the reasons I'm only using MG for my 9mm and I only keep 5-10k on hand. Plus, I don't have to risk the wife finding out I'm scrimping on her ammo. Also if she is shooting that much, she may develop a need for the better accuracy the MGs should offer over the cheapest bullets you can find. Not picking on you, just trying to understand the rational!
