  1. They call them semi custom because they use the popular parts that are on their custom builds but you can't pic out part by part like one of their custom builds
  2. I have a freedom gunworks built by Bobby with the steel grip. (Very similar to the thunder series only mine is a short dust cover). My gun started off rocky but now i love it. The issue that I had in the beginning was the magazines that i had were all out of spec and causing feeding issues. I got the magazines tuned and the gun has run flawlessly since that time for the last 2500 rounds. I would buy another one (now that i have tuned mags)
  3. You might have better luck looking in the reloading section for .45...
  4. Wsf is pretty good, i had developed a load using 200gr bayous. I will go back to it when i am done with my n320 and ramshot competition
  5. Probably around 3.9-4.2gr depending on your barrel
  6. I just got the Ernie Hill/Guga Ribas holster and am happy with it so far. I am interested to see how well it holds up over time.
  7. Just crazy glue it in the spot that slides and it will be good to go.
  8. Yes iit meters very well through my Dillon 650. It burns very clean. A lot of people say you can run it just like n320 but it is only a bit "dirtier"
  9. I use ramshot competition. I like it a lot. 4.0gr under a 200gr bayou bullets loaded at 1.19 oal makes major with some room to spare out of my 5 inch kkm barrel
  10. Incog gcode is my recommendation. I have a few friends that are very happy with it as well.
  11. People typically load longer when using faster powders to keep the pressure down. They also load long to prevent feeding issues.
  12. I just got a steel grip for my 2011. I like the feel of the gun better with the extra weight. I don't think you can really tell a difference when the buzzer goes off but slow fire and dry fire it "feels" better for me
  13. I just picked up the ck arms steel grip. If you are using a ck frame it should be drop in. With an sti frame they have said it may need some minor fitting to make it work but they will be making an sti specific grip in the near future. I am happy with the grip. For the money it comes with everything you need. It fits nicely in the hand reduced slightly from the size of the sti polymer grip. The texture allows you to get a good grip without being overly aggressive. I am happy with mine but would like to try an infinity grip in the future to see how that feels.
  14. Go with the high performance edge, it's a good value for a semi custom gun and it will run out of the box.
  15. Does anyone have holster recommendations for the new ck arm steel grip? I am leaning toward the ernie hill / gugas ribas holster as I have heard it fits well. I am open to other suggestions
  16. Mine was also set to 2.5# it is very nice and has a crisp break
  17. I just got a ck steel grip yesterday. I really like the way it feels in my hand. Taking it to a match this weekend. I can't wait!
  18. I think he has pictures on instagram kgunz11 is his name
  19. Don't they recommend not running major power factor with their aluminum grips?
  20. I should have my ck steel grip soon. I can't wait for it to come in. I will let you know how it feels when it comes back.
  21. Sorry forgot all about this thread. I had the magazines tuned and have not had an issue with it since. I am very happy with the gun after I got the bugs worked out with the mags.
  22. You may have to change the springs in your mags if they are failing to lock the slide back.
  23. I think that was the mbx mags, supposedly the design has changed so they will work with the kkm barrel
