  1. I had a similar experience this past weekend only it was 2 good stages and 4 terrible ones. It's like the wheels just fell off after the first 2.

    Want one!

  3. I have had a few kimber pistols in the past. Their customer service is marginal at best. I had a part that was defective in one of my guns and the guy on the line acted like he was doing me a favor by answering the phone at all. I did get what I needed but I wouldn't say it was service with a smile. This was probably 8 years ago so things could be different now... What kind of issues are you running into? What kind of magazines are you using?
  4. I have had issues with all of my stock mags, still working out some bugs, I just sent them out to get tuned to hopefully eliminate the feeding issues that I have. My issue is close to yours where the round gets stuck on the feed ramp. Is the round below it in the mag looks like it is angled downward?
  5. I think it is only acceptable to look left and right if following it up with this to the cardboard bad dudes. Lol
  6. Out of those three I'd say race master. Another option that many seem to like is the safariland 014. My holster is similar to the race master and it does require a specific draw stroke but once you get that down I think you'll like it.
  7. You have had better luck than I have then...
  8. 1911's are typically good to go when you stick with known manufacturer's of mags. 2011's seem to be more finicky. I agree that it is pretty ridiculous to spend 60 on a mag that may not work.
  9. All of my factory mags came like that. Load them full for a few days and let them sit. The springs should set.
  10. Thanks, I did a search but didn't find it. I'll give that a try.
  11. From my experience the top round hits the feed ramp and gets stuck and the front of the bullet below is angled downward and not pushing up equally (parallel or angled up to keep proper tension on the round below)
  12. I have one magazine with grams guts that has been giving me issues. The springs and followers are on the newer side (less than 300 rounds on it) it is nosediving causing feeding issues. How do I fix that?
  13. Oops read it backwards... saw comp not carry. My bad disregard my post
  14. Daa is probably the stiffest one Jr holsters is also there but not quite as stiff as the daa
  15. The long loading is moreso to prevent nose dives in the magazine.
  16. I shot this this past weekend and had my gun malfunction the entire first string for a whopping 13 seconds(second string was and change)... let's just sat I will be throwing that classifier score out
  17. As long as it is less than 4.2 inches (old rulebook, don't know about the current)
  18. You could, just don't know why you would want to go back to that Glock trigger after shooting the 2011. Lol
  19. If you were to choose which would you pick? Will be using either titegroup or wst loading long for a 2011.
  20. If you pay for the executive, you might as well have one of the smiths on the forum build you a gun the way you want it. But if the price is the same as the edge, I'd say jump on it
