  1. If you are loading long you can try ramshot competition
  2. Load them up to capacity for a few days to let the springs set. The problem will most likely go away.
  3. I like mine very much. If I were to do it again I would have bought the one with the light kit right away instead of buying it after I did my initial testing indoors and not picking up a single reading because the lighting sucked.
  4. Ramshot competition and it's available at powdervalley right now
  5. You and me both. I had them build me a gun back in 2013 expecting to have mine built with the metal grip. I am hoping to have mine soon.
  6. I was loading 4.5gr at 1.17 oal to make major with 200gr bayou bullets.
  7. You might want to read the thread, on this forum, about the CED backpacks collapsing at the lower compartment and making it very difficult to operate the zipper. I'll do that. Thanks. I hhae had one since they first came out. I love it but if the medium was available when I got mine I probably would have gone with that instead. The large is good for major matches as you can fit everything you need for the match and then some. I use mine all the time and haven't had an issue with the bottom compartment collapsing
  8. If you have an android phone look up the "where to shoot" app the nssf app allows you to search for ranges within X distance to you. Not sure if it's available for apple.
  9. I own one and love it. The gun has been very good once I replaced the 2 bad magazines. Bobby has treated me well. I would buy another gun from freedom gunworks or cheely or ck arms in a heartbeat
  10. I just started testing Ramshot competition based on some of the recommendations from this forum. I'm very happy with it so far. I made major with 3.7gr under 200gr bayou bullet at 1.19 oal out of a 5" 2011. 10 shot average gave me 169pf and an es of 14fps. I am going to run more tests with 3.9gr and 4.0gr to make sure I have enough cushion for major matches
  11. Thanks, I didn't know that they sold them.
  12. Does anyone know the lead time for the SVI steel grips? I figured I would ask here before bothering them.
  13. Looks like a Bomar cut. Try kensight
  14. Those are 17 spots apart on the burn chart are they really similar? Ramshot zip is a lot closer to n320 in that regard. It depends which burn rate chart you are looking at. Many on this forum say you can almost use the same recipe of n320 with ramshot and will see very similar results.
  15. Ramshot competition is available at powder valley
  16. I had a sentry also. It was great I did change all the upgrades it had over the Trojan though (magwell, guide rod). But I liked the checkered front strap better than the one on the Trojan
  17. Dawson ice magwell, aluminum guide rod, and an 8# or 9# recoil spring and you are good to go.
  18. TTI 4g here. They work well and are easy to take apart to clean
  19. From talking to Bobby, the CK grips are going to be slightly reduced in size when compared to the STI grip. He said they will are reduced to the approximate size that they do when they reduce and stiple the STI grip. I haven't held one yet but am getting one in the next few weeks so I will be able to give a better answer then.
  20. They both do a good job, I went with ck and am happy with it. They are starting to churn out grips but I think they have a list to get to before they will be available for purchase on their own.
  21. Nice, I have ramshot competition on the way and am ready to start loading some of the 200gr bayous to make major. You like the etr better than ramshot?
  22. They had some intro to idpa group of shooter or something where they shot the match on the days when the SO's shot.
  23. Animal customs, icarus, g2 gemini
  24. Oops, I thought you wanted the lube ring. I think blue bullets doesn't have the lube ring but I am not sure how they size them.
