  1. I have to revise my recommendation, the Master Piece Arms brake is also badass, I ROed a couple stages at the Outback Precision Rifle Series Match this weekend, the MPA braked rifles were almost completely still like the APA braked rifles. http://masterpiecearms.com/shop/mpa-premium-bolt-action-muzzle-brake-6-5mm/
  2. 9mm, 124rn, 3.7TG, 1.130 223, 55fmj, 25.0 Benchmark
  3. Get a 44 inch 22 cal rod, a bore guide, 22 Parker Hale jag, use 30 cal patches, I like BoreTech Eliminator
  4. Junk is IMHO, great warranty on paper, not a good scale or a good warranty when you factor in the time it takes to get it fixed\replaced
  5. I'm a bolt gun dork, I have a Graud Trimmer, and a Gen 2 Prometheus, today loading 223 for a carbine match on my 650 made me see the value of a RT1500, Lyman M die setup up, it's just money I can work more OT and get one
  6. Instead of that Muzzle Brake, remove the butt pad and mix lead shot and 5 minute epoxy and fill the cavity in the stock, then add a grind to fit LimbSaver, the clamp on MB is a bad idea all together
  7. You might try a relief cut on the sear, the TR jig is on the list for me to get https://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=335508
  8. Tools look better when they show signs of use
  9. Wilson 10 rounders have been perfect for 10k rounds in my SA RO 9, I will admit I got a smokin deal on them, 5 nib for 100 bucks, had they not been flawless I would have dumped them
  10. I got a 650, should have gotten a 1050, buy once cry once
  11. My 9mm RO runs flawlessly with Wilson 10 rounders, I added a S&A magwell, had to be blended but that was easy and I like it, my only gripe is the bushing is a tad loose
  12. Rifles Only in Kingsville Texas, if you don't have a weapon with a decent scope I recommend renting one from them along with using there ammo, 5 day course and you'll live on the range
  13. When learning to shoot long range I always recommend shooting 308w with 175SMK, you really can't appreciate the ballistics of 6.5 this/that or a 6mm something until you wear a 308 barrel or two out, which for me has been around 10000 rounds, plus using a 308 to learn to shoot at 1000 yards or more will force you to have rock solid fondamentals.
  14. Thank god you found out about this at the range and not at work
  15. I 've heard of fast production on a650, but that is light speed. That's like 300 rounds a second!300 per second is 1080000(Sober Math)I said almost, which did not include lubing brass, or filling primer tubes, my actual record is 960 rounds in 60 minutes, after that I was spent, now a days it's more like 600 per hour
  16. I did a spent primer mod Added SnowHoose complete kit, no powder spills and I load almost 1000k a hour of 9mm LED light kit
  17. I use SlideGlide lite, to this aircraft mechanic it smells like Mobile 28 thinned with a oil of some sort, 1 tub should last a lifetime.
  18. Win Brass 44.5 of Varget or 45.0 of RL15 Fed 210, M are a waste of money 175 SMk 2.810 Caol This combo has shot petty dam good out of most stock Rem700 Do Not Neck Size Only, only suckers do it, a FL sizing die set to bump the shoulder .001-.0015 is the most accurate consistent ammo
  19. The most accurate consistent loads are all FL resized with .001-.0015 shoulder bump everytime.
  20. I am thinking about having all SVI parts installed in my Range Officer, any issues with the trigger needing fitted, and has anyone else done the full install
  21. 3.6 WSF and 147 Berry round nose loaded at 1.135 from my Range Officer
