  1. I’m using TF extensions on 17rd. tubes, Grams guts gives 23, factory spring and cut down follower were 22.
  2. I used stock springs and chopped down followers for a bit, got 22 rounds. The springs were too short to lock back the slide reliably, but they fed ok.
  3. Wow, my 10# Ultimate EG main spring is setting off Wolf small pistol primers and Tula 9mm ammo. 8.5# Cajun was 80%.
  4. All the rifle triggers I've run across will reliably ignite rifle primers loaded in pistol cases. Should be GTG. A very good way to conserve pistol primers for lightly sprung pistols.
  5. I've decided to conserve what primers I have for my open major ammo, and buy minor 9mm ammo for my CO guns. Ammo is much more available now than primers. Even if it isn't ideal ammo, for lost brass matches, Blazer aluminum and steel case will be fine.
  6. Accurate bought Scott, and rolled their powders under that brand. Long time ago. I haven’t seen any Solo 1000 in forever. 45 guys loved it.
  7. Check the PSA AR-V. I built one from a receiver kit. The mags are silly cheap, 35rd. standard and 15rd. extensions are reliable. Built in feed ramp, ambi mag release. I’m using a CMC 9mm trigger, 100% reliable so far. If you don’t want to build it, the 16” rifles were $899 last time I looked.
  8. Remove the base plate retainers and compress the spring into the tubes with your finger. Slide the extensions onto the lips, let the springs expand into the extensions. I’m using Mec-gar 17rd. mag bodies, Grams 11 coil spring/follower kits, Taylor Freelance extensions to get 23 rounds.
  9. They aren’t the newest or sleekest dot, but the C-more Serendipity/Slide Ride has the best track record for reliability. I own 7 on various platforms, including my open guns. They can break like anything else, but in degrees of reliability, they are at the top of the heap.
  10. I loved this show. I checked on it yesterday to see when it would be back, don’t hold your breath. All the actors have been released from their contracts. No ETA if/when it will return.
  11. I’ve got the CH plate on my Gen 5 G19 and had one on my Legion. The plate itself is steel, and half the thickness of the aluminum plates, so the dot sits lower in the slide cut. It uses T nuts that has more threads than threading into the plate alone. And if a T nut strips, it’s easily replaced rather than having to replace the whole plate.
  12. I learned that a friend and former colleague, and a stalwart of USPSA shooting in Ohio in the 90’s and early 2000’s passed away today. Larry was instrumental in my early interest in the sport. RIP, brother.
  13. If you like the silver/stainless look, I recommend Accurate Plating and Weaponry hard chrome. Hard chrome is harder than the steel under it.

    Shadow 2 optic cut

Patriot Defense, but I’m not sure on their turn around.

    P320 X5 Legion Mags

Not sure what I was thinking, my mags DO say Made in Italy. Mec-gar made.
  16. All P320 9/40 slides, grips and FCU interchange.
  17. I have the same hangers, and find that the right spot on the belt makes all the difference. If you put the hanger closer to the 3 o’clock position rather than closer to 2 o’clock, it won’t dig in. You’ll get used to the draw pretty quickly.

    P320 X5 Legion Mags

I don’t think the 320 mags are. None of mine say Made in Italy on them. I’ve heard the ACT mags are as good as factory SIG mags. I’ve heard the ETS suck.
  19. Like Max had us in mind. Getting a Shadow 2 this week, wish they had similar magazines.
  20. Huh, sounds familiar, kinda like, this combo works.
  21. I thought it was night and day different, and don't regret getting the GG trigger kit. Shoot his, and see if you like it. It's not that expensive of an upgrade.
  22. I think the best thing about this platform is the 21rd. mags. Max knew this gun would be popular for CO, and designed a tube just for us. And so easy to get to 23 with just a base pad swap. I have 8 21rd. mags with TTI bases, stock guts. I get 23 reloadable in all of them. There is a thread going where guys are only getting 22 reloadable, and I admit the 23rd. round is tight, but with a LULA, it goes in. I have no issues loading it on the clock, and the gun will feed it reliably. YMMV. Before I got the TTI bases, I used Springers with the Grams guts to get to 23. Those worked for me too. Charmed life I guess.
  23. I use a Hornady seating die. It has a floating sleeve that aligns the bullet in the case mouth.
  24. It says it in the page title bar when you look up the correct TTI base pad. You see it to the left of the BE page title in this screen shot. I didn’t make up that link, I just copied it in. Trust us, we’ve done the leg work for you, all you have to do is as we’ve suggested, get the TTI small base pad (they only make 2 sizes for the 320) add it to your 21rd. mag, load with a LULA, and you’ll get 23. Or not, whatever.
