  1. Just run a 9lb spring and be done with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. There is a view that 38SC is slight more reliable and the rounds stack a little better in hicap mags. We can’t use them here so no real point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. We get ripped for all brass down under but 38SC is the worst. Virtually zero fired options and new is hideously expensive. Regardless lots of Open shooters use it but 9mm is starting to make its presence felt. I shoot 9mm and love not having to worry about brass at matches (even at AUD$10/100, that’s about US$7/100). 4. They are all I shoot. Out of a Czechmate making 170+ PF No leading to worry about. I haven’t “had” to clean a barrel in a long time but pushing a brush through it every 3-4 months makes me feel better. Where I live jacketed bullets are expensive so we shoot these instead. 5. ^ this is all the RCBS stuck case remover is so if you have an appropriately sized drill bit, tap, socket & bolt you can do it cheaply. It’s also the quickest & easiest. I wouldn’t mess around with any other solution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The challenge is finding a tube/base pad combo that you like and are also legal. Then you need to make sure you measure before you use in a match because even a small variation in the tube length can push a combo over the limit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It depends on the tubes you use. A mate of mine has several mags using Dawson SNL’s that are legal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Personally I’d rather run the machine the way Kevin intended it to run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Now where have I heard this advice before [emoji3166] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The problem is “double taps”. Try one sight picture per trigger press Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yes, it works Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Baby powder is probably the worst thing to use. It’s slippery rather than grippy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My list depends on the method of travel to the match. Driving = normal range bag with everything I might need. Flying = compact range bag with just the essentials Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Your doing it wrong then. The match gun should be tested enough that it is “proven” but not used enough to wear anything out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Here’s a summary of the book “pump arms, run hard” There, I just saved you $43 and don’t believe that she didn’t learn all that from Ben (despite the fact she doesn’t credit him at all) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The real value of having a 2nd gun is not so you have a backup if something breaks but so you can have a “fresh” gun for matches. So you train with one gun and then switch to the “match” gun for any match that you care about. The “practice” gun is the backup to matchy in case it does go down for some reason. For this to work the guns really need to be identical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. If it’s just the extended CZ factory safety they don’t “rock” on like the CZC safety. They don’t really come on very easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. For the price you guys get jacketed first I’d shoot those every day if the week. But coated are fine as well. Spray some oil in your comp before shooting and clean it out with a dremel engraving took a couple of times a year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. - 10lb main (from Sebo) or use the CGW 11.5lb - Lightened FPS (from Sebo) and for added insurance use an ext FP - 9lb recoil (from Sebo), possibly 10lb if using a dot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Racker ?

The stock Czechmate racker sucks. It doesn’t leave enough room between the racker and the safety so it’s possible to hit it on the draw. Sebo sells a version that extends up before it goes out that fixes the issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. No Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Wrong. If an RO catches you with incorrect equipment for your division at the you’ve shot a stage they don’t have to warn you. They can just bump you to Open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. That’s not a rule Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Sounds like your typical BOC cluster f*#k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
