A/M guide rods aren’t legal. This was asked about on the GV and the general opinion (it’s no longer an official opinion) was that using an A/M guide rod because it was attached to a spring would not be legal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you approach your backup guns?

Practice & Match guns is a better strategy than Primary & Backup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I don’t understand the need for all this mag tuning. I’ve had a CM for 6 years. Due to playing in other divisions I probably only have 20k rounds on it but I’ve never felt a need to “tune” a mag (and neither have the handful of other CM owners that I know. I have 2 sets of mags. One set of 20 rounders (crimped to 10) which stock springs, followers & base pads. These have shot the majority of the rounds, are totally stock and run fine. The other set I use for overseas matches. I’ve got 1 big stick and 5 x 20’s. I’ve run them with stock guts + CZC springs and now CZC guts + CZC bases and they run perfect too. I load 124gn RN’s (Frontiers) to 1.14” and the thing just runs. Maybe think about f*#king with the mags less and looking harder at your ammo [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The OEM bushing is so cheap because it comes unfitted. It is possible (but not advisable) to DIY the fitting but realistically you need a gunsmith to do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A slide stop is all you really “need” Consider trigger return springs to be clear consumables. Have a few on hand. Other than that nothing really “breaks” but it can be handle to have some stuff on hand. Some of the pins are lose-able depending on how far you take it apart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your CM doesn’t have a bushing. I’m not aware of any claims that the TSO bushing is hand fitted. As far as I’m aware the only claim is hand fitting of the slide & barrel. CZ sell unfitted factory bushings for both the TS & Shadow 2. It’s reasonably simple to have a gunsmith fit this to your barrel. Importantly for IPSC this is Production legal. FYI losing a bushing is a pain in the arse. You almost never find them again. You can get new ones from CZ but they come unfitted. It’s possible to fit them with a deemed but I don’t recommend it. If fitting a CGW bushing is legal for you then that’s an easy solution (they aren’t legal in IPSC so not losing bushings is more important). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The TS shoots fine with 180gn Bullets Buy a box of Win USA 180gn JHP’s and shoot those offhand. If they don’t group then ask someone else who is known to be able to shoot groups to have a go (a mate of mine always gets me to group his loads to verify what he can do). Ok. This question was asked recently in PSTG. I’ll quote Ben & Hwansik’s replies: Kimmy “A scoop draw is only beneficial when the hands are below the gun. Since scoop draw is not as simple, I don’t use it. I value getting a perfect grip and consistency more than the speed of the draw” Ben “Every single top level GM I know that does the scoop draw has DQed with it at some point in a match. I don’t like it and don’t do it” Christian Sailer also commented in the thread. He doesn’t like it. There’s more to the thread (and much more great content) that you can see by joining the training group. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
