  1. BDM has since come out with 32rd mags.
  2. I suppose if you practiced your RWR it could be quicker. But slide lock removes the possibilty of a mag bobble, IMO.
  3. Am I mistaken in thinking SV only sells the non-AET barrels and reserves the AET barrels for in house builds?
  4. Here in Texas, Armadillo Concealement is probably the most popular. Great people and a great product.
  5. The 4.5" 9mm was my favorite of yours to date. Well, the single stack .45 probably ties, but only because of the grips. Edit: OP, sorry to drift this thread.
  6. Probably everything feels pretty crappy compared to an Infinity! lol Do any of your infinity's have the sight tracker thing? Yes. My Limited gun is a 5.4 Sight Tracker and I have another fancier version on the way... So then it's true what my buddy Rags said.. "Once you get an SV, they got you for 30k easy." Maybe next year will be my journey into the world of SV. Between the two, I'd probably get the DVC. Just seems to be the better value for what you get, IMO.
  7. C'mon Gregg, we know that people don't shoot IDPA for the loot table. Giving everyone a ribbon and a hug is their way of getting people to come back next time.
  8. I'm envious of the cans you guys have. I need to jump on that bandwagon. He's what I came up with.

    SSP or ESP

There's nothing stock about SSP. Trick your gun out and join the ESP crowd.
  10. .22 conversions on 2011 platforms are a lot of fun. I just finished up one for my 2011 using a Nelson Customs kit. It's friggin accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. I'm currently running a 17# mainspring but not with sub sonic loads. I have some CCI Quiet I could run as a test. Looks like a winner there. Keep us updated with your progress.
  11. Also wanted to add that lightweight builds are fun for hoser matches. That being said, the advantage of a heavier rifle would be recoil absorption. YMMV
  12. OP, I hope the gas block you purchased was also adjustable.
  13. I used the stock base pads for over a year without feed issues. I replaced them when I purchased an STI Tactical magwell because I needed more meat to grab a hold of incase I needed to strip a mag.
  14. The 4 126mm I have run flawlessly without tuning. All I added were DP international base pads.
  15. Maybe a little less security would have sped up the trial. The end result will still be the same once he hits general population.
  16. Again, ask your MD before registering for the match. Our matches are mostly INDOOR. As such, our MD does not permit comp'd guns running major PF.
  17. A funky hexagon serration and green grip version of the marauder?
  18. That's one sexy beast. Grats! Also glad to see Gary is out of semi retirement.
  19. I do have a holster and mag pouches that are legal. But what is "NFC"? Not for competition? Do you still get to see a score? You'll have to ask the MD about that. At my club the NFC guys are scored and posted just like the rest of them. I've shot my Open Rimfire in NFC on several occasions and haven't have any trouble.
  20. LSG had about 8 1# jugs of clays on the shelf. As much as I love clays, I didn't want to spend $28 a # for it. Not when I have a year+ supply of ClayDot and a 5 year supply of N320. I can hold out and see if the cost comes down a few more dollars. They used to be my go to supplier for reloading supplies prior to the big scare. I hoping that they'll return to their senses. When they do, I'll return as well.
  21. While I don't MD, I do help set up and tear down. It's very frustrating to have only 4-5 people set up / tear down while the rest of the 30+ shooters decide to "shoot and scoot". And when you only have 3-4 people setting up 5-6 stages the morning of a shoot, you're tired before the 1st shot is even fired.
  22. It's nice that Donnie upgraded the website and now offers online ordering, but I kind of miss speaking to him one on one. I enjoy doing business with people that remember you even if you only speak a few times a year.
  23. It also allowed juniors to use .22s and compete in a match. Not that it's stopped me from bringing out my .22 conversion.
