  1. Focus on the most accurate load you can muster. From there it's going to require a wicked hold over to hit your mark. FPS isn't going to mean much if you can't hit what you're aiming for. Just out of curiosity, why the need to hit 300yrd with a 9mm? I would think you're asking more than the caliber can deliver.
  2. 1st episode was definitely slow. 2nd episode picked up the pace. I like that they introduced a few of the BB characters already. BE, not sure how the Hopper works, but the 2 episodes were playing Sunday and Monday. So I don't know if you would have found anything for yesterday, unless they were running an encore presentation.
  3. From my experience in loading 147gr, the difference between 1.145 and 1.115 OAL in FPS was trivial. That was 2.8 & 3.0gr of extra fluffy Clays. At 1.142 you probably aren't even touching.
  4. Yeah, I never was keen on the whole deprime before wet tumbling. Just changed my routine recently. I added an RCBS vibratory tumbler to my process. Sort brass my caliber Run brass through the RCBS vibratory tumbler with treated walnut and cut dryer sheets for 1hr Separate brass from cleaning media Place brass in VibraShrine vibratory tumbler with corn cob treated with Dillon brass polish and NuFinish Separate brass from media Spray with One Shot and reload 1st tumbler with walnut does the serious cleaning. 2nd tumbler does the polishing. The dryer sheets collect the grime that would otherwise settle in the media. So my media last longer. I loaded pistol on a 550 for about 2 years before discovering the joy of One Shot. Not that leaving out the lube makes reloading difficult but adding the lube makes everything so much smoother.
  5. Call up Shooters Connection and ask.
  6. N320, ramshot competition, clays or ClayDot are all soft shooting, clean burning powders with 147gr. Depending on your OAL and what bullets you settle on, you should be able to load between 2.8 - 3.2gr of those powders listed above and be above 125pf. My current load is 3.0gr of clays under 147gr bayou bullets. I'm getting about 132pf. 2.8gr got me 128pf. Because Clays is temp sensitive, I bumped it up a smidge to be safe.
  7. Had mine on a bushing 9mm for about 3 years and never had a problem.
  8. Skip on the RM and order a Dawson Toolless guide rod.
  9. One recommendation to help ease your fears: Carry one around the house for several days condition 1 but unloaded. See if the hammer ever drops on you.
  10. I was hoping it would have taken effect the 1st of this month.
  11. Rugged and simplistic. Works great for a lightweight build. Been using mine for about 4 years and love it.
  12. If it's not listed under permitted modifications, it is illegal. Since shortening a barrel is not listed, it is illegal. Thankfully I found that out before spending money on having my 3.9" Guardian reduced to 3.8" to make last year's BUG length.
  13. Just because you buy better clubs doesn't mean you're going to play like Tiger Woods. But who doesn't enjoy an excuse to buy another gun?
  14. That shadow should make for a good BUG gun as well.
  15. This thread may get more traffic if it were posted in the IDPA sub forum. Just sayin.
  16. I paid under $30 per pound to my door for 8# of N320 from PV. That was about 4 months ago. While I don't expect prices to be what they were prior to the panic, I was paying $16 for Clays at Alpine. If it stays at about $20 per pound, great. If they think I'll pay above $25, I'll continue to buy online. Businesses have the right to excersise their use of capitalism. I have the right to spend my hard earned dollar where it goes the farthest. While I would prefer to support my LGS, I can't do so at the cost of my hobby.
  17. My initial vote was for the 120mm mag VIP. After a match last Thursday, I saw that the fullsize 126mm mags do fit. IF, and that's a big IF, the rules around CCP and BUG remain unchanged, I could see getting a VIP for CCP and a second top end for BUG.
  18. My vote for gamer gun... STI tactical 3.0. Barely makes weight but I think the ambi safeties need to be trimmed a smidge or remove you side completely.
  19. I'll pass at those prices. I've accululated enough powder and primers to last me about 3-4 years at my current rate of consumption. I can hold off until supply is more readily available and the price come back down. Someone else may be in a tight spot and have to pay those kinds of prices but I'm not going to continue to fuel the machine.
  20. I wear glove on my left hand because of a stage failure that required me to dump 2 mags in under 2 min. Yeah, they get hot.
  21. 4.14. "Each hit on a Non-Threat adds 5 seconds to the shooter's score " Not sure if that could be any clearer. My AC also explained this to us as "Each Hit is 5 sec". There weren't any questions.
  22. Yes it is. It's 5 sec for each hit on a NT.
  23. Have their prices come back down yet? Last time I checked, they still had panic pricing.
