I think cgw sells a spring kit so you can try several and see what you like.

I think you would be better off buying factory 10 round mags.

I know cz custom has a program to mill the TS slide to fit a 75 Shadow frame. I assume they could also do it for an SP-01.

That may be referring to the 10 round .40 TS mags which use a different base and a shorter mag body and spring.

Should be interesting to compare this to the HK VP9.

What does the shadow 2 weigh with an empty mag? Anyway to get it to 43 oz for idpa?

I thought extending 9 mm TS magazines let the follower go below the indentations in the magazine and caused problems.

Another way to tune the recoil spring is to see how quickly you get back on your front sight. Too heavy a recoil spring often causes the muzzle to dip down after it rises in recoil.

Rancher5, I just needed to lap the slide a bit when I put a .40 upper on my 9 mm TS frame and it was too tight.

The TS uses an LPA mount so Stuart is correct, that one will work on the Shadow Target.

I like a thin grip on the strong hand side to help with trigger reach, and a palm swell on the weak hand side for a little more hand contact. Whatever works. Whether it helps my shooting or not, can't really say.

I run a 14 lb recoil spring for .40 major TS.

They do a nice job. I believe they have specific competition classes. They also bring in outside instructors on occasion. Well worth it in my opinion.

Very strange. I opened my sights up and they are now .140. Perhaps others could measure their factory sights.

Ohsevenflhx, I think your factory rear sight may have been adjusted. That seems to wide for a factory rear sight.

Use a drill bit a little smaller than the grip screw hole, and put pressure in the direction you need to open it up. Go slowly, and check that the screw goes in at a 90 degree angle before screwing it all the way in. I found a small rubber o ring keeps it snug.

For ccw you don't want or need a competition trigger, so omega would be fine. Plus option of safety. They do seem difficult to find at this point.

I agree with kneelingatlas. Nothing to be lost by trying. Sometimes you must lap a slide to fit the frame. This could slightly affect the fit to the original frame, but unlikely to affect accuracy.
