    TS frame reduction

Agreed. Beautiful work. Can you let us know your technique?
  2. Wouldn't a lefty want a right hand extended safety?
  3. A polishing wheel can be run in the direction the round takes.

    CZ Tactical Sport

I've been happy with a 13 lb recoil spring on the TS.
  5. I run a 13 lb recoil spring in both the 9 mm and .40 TS. But I shoot minor in .40. I did find there was more muzzle dip than the 11 lb spring, but it was more reliable so I settled on the 13 lb. If the guns ran reliably with the 11 lb springs I would have preferred 11 lb. But that's how my guns run, and obviously some run fine with 10 or 11 lb recoil springs. I think it's well worth trying different springs to see what works and what you prefer.
  6. I have both. And same issue with both.
  7. I had the same issue with the 11 lb recoil spring. Rounds would not chamber on occasion. 13 lb spring has been 100%.
  8. I found that too light a recoil spring led to failures to go into battery. There didn't seem to be enough 'oomph' to get the bullet to chamber completely. YMMV. This was with a 10 or 11 pound spring with .40 minor loads. A 13 lb spring cured the problem.
  9. Are you putting the RH safety in first? Make sure the RH detent isn't interfering. Then put the LH safety in ( you 'll need to pull the LH detent back to get it to fully seat).
  10. FYI I could always get 16 rounds into a 15 round mecgar cz mag. I don't know if this would be legal in NJ. In NY if you could get 11 rounds in a 10 round mag, it would be illegal.

    CZ75 Questions

I believe the Czc site says that the 16 round mags will not work with the magwell.
  13. Anyone know why the TS 10 round 9mm mags are dimpled, and the 10 round .40 mags have a different plastic base?
  14. They seem to work reliably, but sometimes won't drop free, depending on the mag.
  15. I had some 10 round .40 mags that wouldn't drop free. In fact one of them I had to take the grips off to remove. I believe they were out of spec. as other mags worked fine.
  16. Xtreme run well, and they're pretty cheap.
  17. I have no idea why they do that, but I did not like the gun pointing at my leg. I put the hanger in a toaster oven at 325 degrees for 10 minutes, and bent the 'legs' parallel with oven mitts.
  18. That may be you. Pistols will typically hit a little higher at 25 yards than at 7 yards with the same sight picture.
  19. Anyone have load data for N320 with 165 gr bullets?
  20. This happened to me with Remington UMC ammo. The OAL was quite short, and the bullet tip would get caught at the top of the chamber. Longer OAL ammo worked fine.

    Thumb safeties.

The Right and Left safety detents on the Shadow are different (same for Tactical Sport). The Right safety detent (orientation is looking through the sights) does not have a spring.
  22. Front sight should tap out easily on an accu-shadow. The bushing keeps it in place (along with the fit).
  23. Accu-bushing is certainly not going to hurt any. I have it on a TS. The gun is extremely accurate, but I can't compare it to one without.
  24. Have you considered the Tactical Sport .40? Bigger grip, but a better factory trigger. Also quite a bit cheaper.
