  1. I made one like the Dillon offering using same scale. All in, cost me <$20.00
  2. Last I checked cylinder is only available from S&W.. When mine went in for a replace the it took 8 months, good luck....
  3. Make sure your trigger is moving far enough forward to reseat fully. This was my issue when I was trying to get out as much pre-travel as possible.
  4. BBB shows them as closed & out of business with 3 complaints filed with them this year failing to respond to communication....
  5. Not seeing the review on either of your posts... Anybody else or am I having an IOS issue??
  6. I’ve had Solomon’s and was not happy with the fit at all but agree they are better quality..
  7. Ran into similar issue. Ended up 1 full size larger. Also agree on the width issue, while I find they are wider than Solomon’s Still not able to get EE sizes. I can manage about 5 hrs for a match...
  8. Some local ranges do mandate a slide / cylinder be open if left. Was this mandated at a local match?
  9. I enjoyed watching this young man’s videos On you tube & Facebook but noted last year they stopped and his pages are no longer updated. Anyone know if he got out of shooting competitions?
  10. You probably will see little to no difference. Bigger question is, are these the same profile bullet from the same manufacturer? If not, that could be an additional factor and added together may show a larger change... ,
  11. I doubt you will find a Drop In grip safety, some fitting/finish work will be required.
  12. Local would be the best bet (as in you’ll probably have to travel around).. Anybody online having them would be quickly picked up by those who Would then try to get $2 a primer on other sights!
  13. I had a pair of glasses made that have progressive lenses. Had the correction moved up more to center line so I can keep my head down. Slight move of the head and you get the focus you want at will. Now allows me to shoot open sights or a Dot with same glasses...
  14. Did you do the fitting / assembly of all parts or someone else? I ask only because fitting correctly would require knowing where the slide / barrel and frame critical dimension points are. As others suggested, sounds like allot of work with a sharpie & stones may be in your future...
  15. Don’t remember the pin size. For a new sight you end up with a new one and drill the sight to fit tight. Idea of the work needed: https://www.revolversupply.com/blog/replacing-front-sights-on-sw-revolvers-can-i-install-a-new-front-sight/
  16. Roll pin probably has compressed a little and became loose?? I replaced mine when I put a FO sight on.
  17. Some pictures of the frame , slide & barrel apart would be more helpful....
  18. This: I like to use 2 nuts tightened against each other at the position where I need to cut, helps as a guide as well as something to clamp in the vise securely.
  19. Bought a pair of these during their clearance sale. Love them and you can get 2 pair for the price of the Solomon’s and still buy a burger!
  20. Hint: When you do a search, it will pop the results page up with further options that help get just the phrase you are looking for!
  21. When using the Alpha 3 or one of the Sig Romeo 3 models on a Cheely or similar RTS2 mount you will need to relieve the inside edge of the blast shield. A couple of previous post have shown how to do. Couple of people bevel in the edge of the sight but you better of working on the cheaper part. I used a mill to do mine but you can also relieve with a Dremel and files carefully. It doesn’t take much.
  22. What version is the sight? Probably V3 Or V4? They keep updating version for a reason, losing zero is one of them...
  23. If you do a search you’ll find a couple of threads on the use of autocomp in 9mm minor. Not the most popular but it has been done... For 147gr your probably still safe .2 more at that length but your already over 140PF.. If you want a harder hit on pins why not go to 160gr? 929’s love em!
  24. I was able to get my Open Gun FTP mounted and to the range this week. I had planned to use as a backup for my Sig Romeo 3 XL but now planning to leave on for my next match. Horizontally a little narrower but it gives up nothing else. The 8moa dot is very bright and extremely crisp except at the highest setting where there is a little flaring. The glass quality is excellent!! I wish the windage/ vertical adjustments had a little crisper click to them but we'll see if they hold zero before I call it a complaint. Excellent quality for the $$
