smokshwn Posted December 15, 2007 Share Posted December 15, 2007 (edited) I don't know exactly what happened. He was traveling on business in Reno and apparently had a heart attack, he was only 54. We had always had a pretty rocky relationship while I was growing up and it was just the last few years that we started spending time together and even more recently being able to actually talk the way a father and son should. I think we both enjoyed that, alot. I'll miss him. The phone call at two am was pretty surreal....It is ironic that I have made quite a few of those kinds of calls, receiving one has given me a whole new perspective. On another note, Thanks B (and all the BE family) for building this incredible place that is so much more than a shooting forum.
