shooterbenedetto
IMR 7625 I love it. its is cheap and can get 8lbs bottle for $140.00 should last you 1 year. pwder is smaller grains so you dont have to worry about spilling when loading compared to VV n350 Matt Burket suggested to try it. I load 7.0 to make major.
AustinMike
HS-6 works for me.
basman
depending upon availability in this order: 3n37, 7625, HS6, N350
HSMITH
Silhouette is the best I have used, but I am shooting Longshot right now because it is so easy to get. 8 pounds cost $125 at a chain store, and was on the shelf.
blkbrd
HS-6 Easy on the gun, good dot movement, easy to find cheap. Depends on your gun though. Mine is a Bedell shorty with popple holes. Shorty with no holes HS-6, 3N37, N350. With a full length gun Silhouette, True blue, HS-6, N350, 3N37 or a few others depending on how yo like it to feel. the duck of death
HS-6 in a Glock 34, little pressure signs and it burns CLEAN.
al503
1st: SP2. It's a little dirty but no pressure signs up to 175pf. It's also very dense so it's not compressed. 2nd: 3n38. Cleaner than SP2 and can get to major (barely) without pressure signs. Gotta load on the slow side as it's very compressed.
TKJ
VV 3N38, its clean and its not sensitive to temperature change
ctgun
True Blue or Sillohette. They are a little harder to find but my open G17 runs great with them.

Stage 3
VV N350 works great in my STI, dot tracks in the window and really soft recoil
ChrisStock
Ramshot Zip with 147 G or Alliant Promo with 124GR, as it fills the case nicely.
adiksaputok
i've tried both IMR 7625 almost identical with n-350 just .1 grain difference (+.1gr of IMR 7625 on your n-350 load) but using SP2 right now and happy with it lots of powder space and shoots flat on my niner
Gwhiz
Silhouette: Dot tracks well, pleasent recoil, primers look good, and it is $50 for 4 lb at Powder Valley.
A38337
3N37 and Silhouette work good for me. Bedell Shorty. No ports.
smokshwn
Bedell Shorty no ports I used 24 lbs of 3n 37 and was very happy with it. I replaced it with Ramshot Silhouette and cannot tell a difference in performance. Silhouette also has the added benefit of being slightly denser so there is very little "splash" while reloading. JThompson
So far... 3N37 Thoughts: Consistent very clean, but very very hot. Nice dot movement 7625 : A little less consistant lot to lot, a little more dirty, but still pretty clean. Slightly more erratic dot movement. Silhouette : ?? Just ordered some to try... will update
oraysor
3n38 if I can find or afford it, I have been working with HS-6 and think this will be my powder of choice. My mistake, 3n38 is my 38 super powder and HS-6 is working for 9mm major… Edited August 23, 2007 by oraysor
joaquino
7.6 grain Longshot, 124 grain bullet, WSP PF165-166 8.4 grain 3N38, 124 grain bullet, WSP PF165-167 stope using 3N38 because the case need to be filled to the edge, with the longshot I still have some 3 or 4 millimeters to the case edge. STI shorty (half inch) with 3 3mm ports
