  1. Leave major/minor scoring alone.
  2. 100% agree, dots on everything.
  3. RTS2 V5 for me, got 3 of them all with no issues.
  4. We used EB Welding for manufacturing jet/turbine engine parts, and two metals can be completely joined together. Not saying that this is a superior method of manufacturing 1911 frames, I just don't see a downside to it.
  5. Colt experimented with this in back in 1939 and brazed the halves together but it was never adopted for production. Electron Beam welding is a far superior method of joining the halves, I don't see any downside to this manufacturing method.
  6. Magguts has a +2 kit for the 365 mags, brings my 365XL mags to 14 plus one in chamber. P365 - P365 XL -P365 X Archives - MagGuts
  7. What spring did you have installed, how old was it and what weight did you go to to correct the issue?
  8. There are a few at our club that fall into this category. I’ve asked this question in the past with Mike, now with new leadership it just might happen.
  9. I lost my farther when he was 57, way too young. Feel sad that I didn't get to spend more time with him and that my 2 boys didn't get to know him.
  10. It happened to me once years ago, noticed it while trying to put the cover back on, tightened it back down and all is good.
  11. I've been using VV N350 for years, very clean and consistent.
  12. I have the Romeo 3 Max and been running the same battery for a year now, only turn it off after the match or dry fire session.
  13. Tac-Sol has had the rifle for right at a month now, hopefully they can get to the bottom of the failure to eject issues. They are having some failures, a small percentage, but still failures. What is bothersome is that I have been using a friends Volquartsen rifle, actually both of us are using it in Steel Challange and it has not had one failure of any kind in over 2 months that I've been using it.
  14. I sent the complete rifle along with a mag and a list of ammo that I've tried.
  15. All my magazines are numbered and properly tuned. I have given up trying different mags and ammo, it's now back to Tac-Sol for the 3rd time!!! It is extremely frustrating that an top of the line firearm is unreliable and even the manufacture can't seem to correct the problem.
  16. I've tried the following ammo, all with the same results: CCI Clean, 40 grain CCI Mini-Mag, 40 grain Federal Auto Match, 40 grain Federal Bulk pack, 40 grain Winchester Wildcat, 40 grain Remington Thunderbolt, 40 grain Eley, 40 grain
  17. My Tac-Sol X-Ring rifle has been unreliable from day one. At first I though it was either magazine or ammo related issues, but all my magazines run in a friends 10-22 with out any problems! failure mode is FTE, continually stove pipes. Can't get through one stage of steel challenge without at least 1-2 failures. I have tried basically every brand ammo, all with the same results. I've sent it back to Tac-Sol twice now, the first time they replaced the barrel liner, firing pin, and bolt, test fired and returned it. It still has the same issues. The second time they replaced the barrel, barrel liner and bolt, test fired and returned it. The problem continues. First match back from the factory I couldn't get through the first string of a steel challenge stage. Switched to my friends 10-22 and was able to run through the entire match twice using his rifle, my mags and my ammo without any issues. Please, I need help solving this problem! Any suggestions.
  18. My CK Arms flat ran, no issues at all until the slide cracked after around 50K, new slide and back up and running. Like Sarge said "Good ammo in good mags makes life so much easier too."
  19. I originally contacted Bobby because I had heard the same thing, but he told me that he had sold all of the CK Arms assists and that in his new employ they do not do the type of work needed.
