  4. With old style SVI 140 mag and Grams base pad, Grams internals I can load 16 rounds in in mag.
  5. Use to have what looked like flat primers, started using small rifle primers and haven't looked back. Using HS-6, 9.0 to 9.4 gr with a 115 gr bullet.

  10. Been using with MG 115 gr. bullets for years in 3gun and fun shooting as this what I have in stock. Found it to be very accurate......
  11. Forgot this, take your time when loading. It takes time for the powder drop to clear 25 + grans of powder. You are not in a race but can load two or three hundred rounds with proper preparation.
  12. Case trim is important, I use a Dillon rapid trim.Next area Primer pockets prep, use Dillon's Super Swage 600.The Lee factory crimp die and you should be able to load all the .223 you can shoot. Works for me
  13. My Father was like that, hard to figure out. Now that I am 66+ I find myself looking back and can understand many of his problems he was dealing with...Its not easy growing old, your mind thinks you can still do thing as you have always done them then your old tired body says no way are you doing what you are thinking about. I miss my DAD...
  14. So 'as I understand it, if you keep barrels clean ( bore brush w/ brillo pad )AND keep things oiled and used in slow pistol loads only ie: .45 APC / 9 mm minor should not be a problem...I hope. Will be using only jacketed bullets

  16. Had the same problem, found that one of the screws (14530 ) that attach the Roller Bracket Assembly, part number 14280, found on page 5 of instruction manual had worked it self loose and acted like a stop when you tryed to seat the primer...
  17. I have had very good results with the Montana Gold 55gn .223s, using 26.5 gns of BL-C(2) in a 20 inch barrel rifle...3000fps with very good accuracy.

  20. Thank you for your reply, since I made my call for help in the problems with my M-4, I took it apart, cleaned, including both gas pistons and assembled using Break Free CLP as my lubricant. The gun runs on everything I feed it now including Wal-Mart $20.00 a hundred specials. Needless to say I am very happy now and have 100% confidence that my M-4 will run when needed.

  22. new M4 ran fine last three gun ( two + weeks ago ) whent to use it today and gun will not autoload. Can make every thing work manually, coud use some advice.......
