Arakisk
Buying a bunch of Blue Bullets soon, and I want to know which profile is the best option for reliable function in a PCC. Will be used in a Criterion barrel with integral feed ramp. Link to comment

Both feed well with an ATI pcc ( feed ramp integral with barrel). Accuracy is still being tested. I ordered the .356 dia. Getting various accuracy results in different firearms usually consistently accurate with other coated and jacketed projectiles tested. Link to comment
Kokeman
Round nose is all I've ever shot out of my PCCs. When I started shooting PCC I researched loads and I found several people having feed issues with flat nose. So I started with RN and have never had a reason to shoot anything else in them. Stephen7942
I have shot RN with great success. From what I have heard they seem to work best. That being said I have never used TC's or HP's - happy shooting! Link to comment
Southpaw
I've used both and they work equally. Both fed fine and same accuracy. TC can be loaded a lot longer if you have a barrel with short throat. Link to comment
midvalleyshooter
I suggest you try a few of whatever you plan to buy BEFORE you purchase a large quantity. Link to comment
Cuz
Yeah, that’s what case quantity is for. You only buy 1 case to try them out. Link to comment
zzt
Having tried every profile in my Leadstar Prime PCC I've found that bullet profiles with a wide meplat do not feed well, or at all. Rounded nose JHPs work fine, but not the ones with a wide mouth used for self defense loads. So I just go with all plated RNs now. They feed 100%. So do RN coated, but I don't want to lead up the comp. Link to comment
MemphisMechanic
Blue bullets will eventually led up your comp if you run one. If you don’t mind getting out the dremel to grind the cement-like layer out of it, they’re a good price. Link to comment

sdrr72
Here's another vote for round nose. I've use RN plated bullets for my 9mm AR first and MPX now with no feeding issues. Doesn't punch a "pretty" hole in the paper, but I can live with that. Link to comment
Tuggerz
I’ve ran both Flat and Round Nose Blues (147 & 125) through my JP GMR 15 with zero feeding issues. Link to comment
laz2011
I shoot RN in my pcc . For the build up on the comp I use an ultrasound cleaner and just lower the comp and the top of the barrel in the cleaning solution. Link to comment
