Neomet
We had to say goodbye to Charlie today. As certain as we were that it was time it still leaves us heartbroken. He was 15 years old. Leslie rescued him with a broken femur 13 years ago and no animal has ever fallen into a better life as nobody can love and care for someone like Leslie can. He has been my buddy for 11 years in that perfect quiet way labs can have. Whatever room I went to he would just mosey on in and lay down. Just happy to hang with me. I love these pics of the two of us on travels in our youth and one at the end. Raise a glass to this man's best friend. Thank you Charlie for walking down this path with me for a bit and leaving such beautiful memories.
