Break down of guns at production nationals?

You don't mean that production has turned into an equipment racesurely not.

equipment doesn't make the shooter

But if Sitting Bull had a PSE Compound Bow...

Or a nice Winchester.

At the top levels the gun makes more of a difference than in the B & C classes. At the top levels they are pretty close so even if it's only 1% they pretty much have to shoot the best equipment. It's still the Indian but a straight arrow sure helps.

he'd still have been crushed by people with lever action rifles and artillery.

I was just looking at getting an M&P or SP-01 to get into doing some competitions in Production and had pretty much decided on the M&P and just keep seeing things that make me reconsider the CZ.

I looked at various pistols for production and thought about a CZ and others but settled on an M&P. One reason is I'm a big S&W fan and the other being I could find an M&P easily. Not so with CZ and some other pistols I had considered.

true, but there would have been many more pale faces pushing up daisies before the crushing.

Sitting Bull had a winchester, most of his warriors had winchesters or other repeaters of the era. Custers troops had springfields. Call it a equipment race if you will but the Indians won.------------Larry
