The stages were challenging and the staff was professional. I regret that it took me this long to shoot the Buckeye Blast. The weather was Spring-like for us now living in the South. And, I got to meet Sarge on our last stage. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
I used to shoot with a CZ 75 Shadow from CZC. IDPA changed another rule making that illegal. With the rule change, my magazine release was too long while before, it was not. My pistol is just fine for USPSA Production, Limited (Minor), L10 (Minor), and even Open.
I've owned a CZ 75B, a CZ 85C, a CZ 75B Omega, a CZ 82, a CZ 75 Shadow, a CZ SP-01, and two CZ 75B SA's (one 9mm and one 40) and have not had any quality control issues. Was I lucky? I don't think so.
I prefer the standard 16-round CZ mags with the Springer Precision base pads. I was running the 18-round SP-01 mags for a while but they wore out and were giving problems with feeding.
I just bought a pistol and several extras to shoot USPSA. I've been a bit anxious because I need some of these extras prior to a major match coming up and one is on back order. Stu has been rather patient with me contacting him every couple of days.
I've been shooting CZs for about 6 years. I was the only one for a while but recently, 5 of my friends gave up their Glocks and went with the CZ. One went back to his Glock. Must be temporary insanity
I'm 55 and have had some injuries. That being said, I started USPSA just over a year ago. I'm D in SS and C in Production and L10. My goal is to make B this year and attend a couple major matches. I'm going to push hard and try to make A as soon as I can.
