For those of you that use the 17round nickel plated mags in your shadows, which replacement springs do you use and or what springs do you recommend ?

Otto cap is a very good brand.

I just got a pocket pro 2, and so far it works great.

I am thinking about getting a shot timer to help with my dry fire. Will the pocket pro 2 pick up dry fire hammer strike sounds ? I shoot a CZ.

Angus, can you tell us the names of the best and worst brands of factory ammo ?

I have a shadow ordered from Matt Mink and when I asked about front sight height I was told if you shoot 124gr get 0175, 135gr get .180 and 147gr get .195. I shoot 124gr so they are putting .175 front sight on it. fwiw I did not ask if these heights were for POA POI at 25 yds.

I also have a Liberty fatboy jr. My only suggestion would be to get a bigger safe than you think you need. They never hold as many guns as advertised. Scoped rifles take up a lot of room. Get the organizer that mounts inside of the door. Holds a lot of pistols and has some (cool pockets) on the bottom to hold important papers.

Update. I ordered a RLN doh holster from Matt Mink at Automatic Accuracy. According to Matt, my gun should be built and ready to ship next week.

I have the Dawson adjustable without the FO dots. Never had a problem with them, don't lose adjustment.

I would look on Dawson precision's sight. Several choices in fixed rear and also adjustable rear, they also recommend a front sight height in fiber optic depending on which rear sight you choose.

My Gen4 34 that I bought in early 2013 has also been 100%. I use it in monthly USPSA matches.

I have a CZ 75 SP 01 Shadow on order and was wandering what holster to use. I currently use a bladetech doh for my glock 34 and trying to decide to get another doh or try a ghost stinger holster. Has anyone tried both ? Any thoughts one way or the other would be great.

I leave the copper grease in and just use ballistol for cleaning the gun and for lubrication.

Thanks for the link, but accordingly to the article you have to trim the trigger safety which makes this an external modification which I can't do in production.
