  1. And all the recommendations still call some sort of lubricant be it one shot or dillons case lube. Doesnt matter if you got your lube 10x cheaper or not, it was just an example of lube (here I stated dillons) that you can use to prevent sticking. You asked for thoughts and you got them yet all I hear you saying is how cheap your home-made lube is and how clean your brass are. I know how cheap your home made lube is since I made my own case lube years ago consisting of 99 %isopropyl alcohol and lanolin courtesy of the internet.
  2. Dillons case lube is a mixture of lanolin and alcohol. Wet tumbling makes the brass really dry and the brass will have more resistance going through the dies. Dry tumbling with either corn cob or crushed walnut leaves a thin film of dust on the cases which acts like a dry graphite grease.
  3. What head stamp are you using? I know from experience that i had experienced the same when using CBC and S & B head stamped brass. They are thicker than federal, Win and blazer hence the brass tries to spring back to its original size. What helped for me was adding lube to the brass. I put a hundred is so in a ziplock bag, squirt some Dillon case lube and shake/mix to coat the brass with the lube. This prevented the sticking you are experiencing. I just had to tumble the ammo for about 15 minutes afterwards to remove the case lube. Give it a try and see if it helps. I know it helped me.
  4. You can use a throating reamer.
  5. Springer Precision is nice too but since I got the extra shadow 2 pad for free, I decided to just drill and tap it. It saved me $35.

  7. Call Sig’s CS, let them know and see if they’ll send you a replacement bolt.
  8. Check the overtavel and pretravel screws first. Remove them and test the trigger operation again. If it still acts the same way as you described, then fitting of the disco is the next step. Do the fitting and shave off bit by bit. Install/reinstall and test fit very time you remove a little bit of material. Good luck.
  9. Buy the 12.9 grade screws from boltdepot.com. That’s where I used to buy my spare screws for my rc trucks.
  10. Lightening cuts had been made in the slide so its essentially is a different gun compared to the non-Optic ready shadow 2.
  11. Tombstone or ballistic M frames. The ballistic m frames lenses are very easy to change like the tombstone. I got the ballistic m frames in different color lenses in addition to my TR22 prizm sunglasses.
  12. Ben Stoeger pro shop is located in Austin not sure if they have a retail store though since I buy stuff from their website.
  13. I’m loading 7.3 Gr of CFE pistol with 115 Gr PD JHP @1.149-1.151 OAL for 169 pf on the czechmate.
  14. No match fee for anyone helping setup stages. They need to be at the range helping set up the stages at 730 am so we can start the match at around 9. 15 for club members and 20 for non-members.
  15. Very realistic! Beautiful!
  16. I used different scale targets depending on how much I have to practice. Since I have mine pasted on the wall by the formal dining room which extends to the living room, I use mostly 1/3 scale targets so I can see the scoring areas clearly. The only time I used a 1/6 scale target is when I simulate 50 yards.
  17. You can adjust the drop and also the disctance to/from your belt. You can buy a couple of 1/4” nylon spacers at Home Depot and replace the ones that came with the BOSS which are 1/2” iirc.
  18. You need to fit the disco if you installed a new disconnect. Some of the disconnectors from the RRK needs a little bit of fitting. Go slow and make sure you try it after you remove some material. Also, check and make sure the trigger spring is in the channel of the trigger bar. You can check it using a flashlight by removing the grips so you have a full view of the trigger bar and spring.
  19. Bullet weight x velocity divided by 1000 = power factor ex. 124 Gr x 1087 FPS = 134,788 divided by 1000 = 134.78 pf
  20. You’re welcome. Glad to help. You can find some of them at Home Depot or your local hardware store.
  21. Those are M3 x .5 screws.
  22. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, I was leery when I was talking to her that’s why I decided to cancel right then and there. I told her that if they can’t be upfront with the status of their products, I won’t be buying anything from them. Hopefully they’ll get everything sorted out.
  23. Get the czechmate. It comes with two barrels. Then f you still want a parrot after you bought it, just buy the corresponding colored parts from armory craft. This way, you’ll have a parrot with two barrels .
  24. I used PayPal to pay for mine. I called and canceled yesterday morning and received the refund last night.
  25. I called and talked to Kimberly yesterday concerning my order and she said it was on backirder. I ordered mine on March 12 and never got any shipping info. i asked why the website doesn’t reflect the items’ status and she said that it hasn’t been updated yet. I ended up canceling my orders since she can’t tell me when it’ll be available.
