  1. I also use a comptac holster for my X5. It works well and no problems at all.
  2. Don’t shoot it. Call CZ and let them know about it. Get their email address and send those pictures to them. I bet they’re going to send a mailing label for you to send the gun back to them.
  3. Here are some pictures of my TSO with the stock thumbrest using my RHT holster. I also have a DAA racemaster holster when I use my TSO with the larger Advance Ratio thumb rest
  4. I wear Oakley SI flak jacket with TR45 prizm lenses for shooting. It enhances the red dot since the lens ase color is rose. For daily use, I wear the Prizm Daily polarized sunglasses. I got a copy of my prescription and sent it to Oakley and had them make it for me.

    P320 X5 Thread

I have shot almost 5k of my reloads on my X5. Ive had it since November 2017. I also used mixed brass if I’m too lazy to sort head stamps. Lately, I had been sorting by headstamps so there is less variance in OAL. All the brass are range pick ups. I mostly use S & B, RP, Speer and Fiocchi brass. I also use Winchester small pistol primers.

    P320 X5 Thread

I had been shootings my reloads after I broke in my X5 with about 500 rounds of factory 115 Gr federal FMJ. No problems so far. I also installed a Springer precision guide rod and a 10# Wilson combat recoil spring. My reloads are 124 Gr RMR FMJ RN, TCFP and JHP plus PD JHP with 4.1 Gr of Winchester 231.
  7. You won’t need any springs in the buffer tube. The MPX has a plastic pad inside the upper that acts as a recoil pad. The buffer tube will be empty and will just be there as a mounting point for your stock. I did remove the stock orange recoil pad installed a Taccom wave spring recoil pad. Taccom wave spring recoil pad. It’s screwed in into the upper.
  8. Not with major power factor. I tested my major loads for my czechmate on the TSO and it wasn’t soft.
  9. I’m running. 10# spring in my shadow 2 with 124 Gr TCFP (1070 FPS).
  10. And yet CZ didn’t even bother installing the new shadow 2 style extended safety and mag release with the pad . Unbelievable!
  11. It’ll be better so you can optimize your resources. You can also tailor your loads to your liking.
  12. I went to the nearest sheriffs office and asked them for a fingerprint and they were very accommodating (most were retired military too). They charged me $5 each so $10 for two cards. They provided and did everything. Cheapest and convenient since it’s only about 3 miles from my house.
  13. I wear disposable nitrile gloves. I buy a box of 200 from Costco for $11.
  14. 10-12 feet for chrono distance from your pistol. Use a rest if you have one so your chances of shooting the chrono will be minimal . As for dry tumbling, I use Nufinish car polish on the crushed walnut shells. Cleanliness of the brass is a personal preference. Just make sure the primer holes don’t have any crushed walnut shells stuck in it.
  15. Everything goes to the ATF since it electronically saved into their system. They will inform your CLEO about your application. Once you finished all the paperwork, a different window will pop open (make sure your computer allows cookies) for payment via cc or debit. Once this is done, the system will send you a receipt via email and also another email with an attachment containing the cover page to be sent with your fingerprints. The address to send your fingerprints will be in this cover letter too. You have 10 working days from submitting your form 1 to submit your fingerprints.
  16. That was the Henry’s Cup in Houston. So Level III.
  17. I use my 30 rounders during reloads using a beer can grip since I also have the TTI magwell.
  18. It’s not really that complicated. You can file as an individual instead of using a trust. There are pros and cons of each. I do know that in my paper application for my AR15 SBR (individual instead of using a trust), my application got approved a little bit quicker compared to a trust. When I e-filed for my MPX, I did it again as an individual and it came approved after 17 calendar days.
  19. Yup, it does that. I was surprised too on how it automatically changed the avatar to the USPSA logo. Glad you were able to download it.
  20. Do you have PDF viewer installed in your iPad? If so, download the rule book into the PDF viewer so you can open it up afterwards. That’s what I did on my iPad Pro. You can download it through the website but not within the app. Weird but that’s what I notice when I tried to download it straight from the app.
  21. Yes I did. I load them up at 1.125 - 1.128 without any problems. The ogive is a lot better compared to the RMR JHP (which I also tested) allowing it to be loaded with a longer COAL.
  22. The red dot will be a nice circular dot if you don’t have astigmatism. My right eye has slight astigmatism while my left eye doesn’t. Just found that out during my eye exam last Wednesday. Now I know why the dot looks better when shooting using my left hand/eye.
  23. I don’t like the blunter/fatter/rounder profile of RMR’s FMJ that’s why I switched over to the TCFP. It’s more accurate too compared to the RNs. Once I used up all my RMR’s, I’ll be using PD JHP for all my guns. I’m using it now for my MPX to prevent leading of the comp.
  24. The best and easiest solution by far.
  25. I used to shoot RMR 124 FMJ RN on my Shadow 2 before I switched to the RMR 124 Gr TCFP Match winners. I never had any problems with the FMJ RNs. I loaded them at 1.102-1.104 with 4.1 Gr of Winchester 231. Double check your crimp. Make sure all the bell/flare had been removed. The RMR FMJ RNs are .355
