  1. I don’t know where you searched but I got one of these polarized prizms. https://www.oakley.com/en-us/product/W0OO9188?variant=888392279958 I have one of these too aside from my TR22, TR45 and other Oakley’s. I sold one of these for $150 a month ago or so.
  2. @Bwillis that sucks. At least you got your money’s worth.
  3. You’re not alone. A few of my friends didn’t believe me either. But once I gave them my prizms, they were amazed at the clarity and contrast. A few guys on here got lucky when they bought prizm sunglasses from me for cheap. I also wear a pair of polarized prizm sunglasses for daily use.
  4. That’s the best thing about the Oakley prizms. They increased the contrast and you’ll see the red dot and laser better.
  5. I’m wearing spf 50 arm sleeves underneath my spf 50 Columbia long sleeve fishing shirts to prevent burning my skin. You can get some from academy or amazon. They’re tight fitting yet breathable.
  6. I’m also using a crimson trace cmr 206 green laser mounted on my MPX. It stays on the gun and it’s only turned on when needed on a stage. Makes hard lean targets easier.
  7. I heated and straightened out a recurve trigger and installed it on my shadow 2. I never liked the new 85 trigger that came with my shadow 2. Stock shadow 2 straightened recurve trigger Edit - I also drilled and tapped it for a pre and over travel screw.
  8. I had been using slide glide on all my pistols and rifles. I put a dab of slide glide then smear it on the rails, bolt etc with Lucas gun oil. It’s been working flawlessly.
  9. It’s a lot cleaner and formulated for coated bullets. It’s cheaper too.
  10. I had been using 4.0- 4.1 Gr of Winchester 231 @ 1.125-1.130 OAL with Precision deltas 124 Gr JHP for my 8” barreled MPX. I had since switched to 4.0 Gr of Sport Pistol @ 1.121-1.125 OAL with Precision delta’s 124 Gr JHP.
  11. Check your over travel screw and make sure it didn’t back out.
  12. I tested them on my shadow 2 before. I loaded them with 4.2 Gr Winchester 231( basically same as HP38) at 1.132-1.135 OAL. Here are my numbers: 1058 1049 1045 1049 1064 1052 HI - 1064 LO - 1045 AVE - 1052 ES - 19 SD - 6
  13. I use a pair of tin snips in cutting mine. It cut through the nylon stiffener like butter. edit - congrats on your weight loss. That’s also the reason why I had to cut down mine. Went from 178 to 159 lbs after retiring..Frozen fruit smoothie with a scoop of protein powder for breakfast every instead of my usual bacon and eggs plus gym time 3-4 times a week.
  14. I cut one and then use a propane lighter to seal the edge. It hasn’t frayed at all. I also had some leather gloves on so I can press the edge while it was still soft and pliable after the propane lighter burning/sealing.

    Shadow 2 or A01 LD?

Oops, that’s not good. Then buy two . if that’s the case, my vote goes to the shadow 2. I got one and it’s very nice. Works flawlessly and haven’t let me down.
  16. I’m using a Crimson Trace CMR 206 for hard weak side leans.
  17. Yes. Try this exercise when your watching tv. Raise your right hand and point to an object as if you’re going to shoot it. Now without moving your hand, close your right eye and look at the object pointed by your right hand. See how the point of aim changes. You are now pointing a little bit to the right of the object.
  18. You’re probably still using your right eye(dominant eye) in locating the target through your dot instead of your left eye. The target/dot alignment is off when you have the carbine on your left shoulder and looking through the chore with your right eye. The bullet will be impacting on the right side of the target. Try closing your right eye if you’re not used to shooting with your left eye.
  19. Send it to either CZ Custom or Cajun Gunworks. Both of these companies are the best when it comes to CZ tuning. Stuart (EERW) is a member here and works at CZC. Send him a pm and let him know what needs done. He posted a response on this thread too.
  20. You need to adjust your resizing die. On my Dillon, I screw the sizing die until it barely touches the shell plate and go from there. Right now, your sizing die is not properly sizing your brass hence the bullet just falls into it.
  21. Wow! That’s bad. Looking at that, I think I did a better job fitting a new disco and competition hammer on my Shadow 2.
