  1. I tried the TTI sights and prefer the Dawson's. I like a bit more sunlight between my sights then what the TTI's showed. Also I have the Dawson's on all my other pistols so I also like to keep them consistent.
  2. BCG and Bolt - Iron City Rifle Works EVO G2 Competition Series Recoil System - Taccom ALW 223 recoil system and enhanced rifle spring Adjustable gas block - JP low profile adjustable gas block
  3. Not really a breakage but I had a bolt face that was out of spec and whenever I would shoot LC brass the fired rounds wouldn't eject and would literally be stuck to the bolt face. I would need to lock the bolt back and push the spent case off the bolt face. The same rounds would work perfectly fine in any other rifle just not mine. Took some time trying to figure out the issue.
  4. I got the competition springs from DK triggers with an IDP striker and use a 13lb recoil spring
  5. What I would suggest is to charge for the classifieds if you wanted to have your add listed on the front page for say a week or so. One of the Golf forums I belong to will charge $10 for your add to be pinned to the front page for a week. During that time frame you can add items to it so you can sell multiple items from the same listing without having to make new listings.
  6. Mine always go into the safe, I prefer not to keep them in the bags with all the powder residue and dirt that gets picked up while out at the range.
  7. I've had good luck with brass from brassbombers.com
  8. Here's what I just did for my new G34, it's used for 3gun: Grip job from ZEV (silicon carbide), magwell, ZEV mag release, 13# ISMI spring w/ tungsten guide rod, TTI sights and a DK custom full kit trigger w/ IDP Flatline trigger
  9. I've had pretty good success with the 62gr FMJ bullet from Hornady. I run it over 23.6gr of Benchmark. Below are the results with the same load out of 2 different rifles. Both rifle have Odin 16" barrels w/ mid gas and were shot at 100yds (50yrd zero) in a lead sled solo.
  10. With the new laws going into effect next year (banning of magazines holding more than 10 rounds effective July 1st) the range I shoot 3 gun has stated that no one will be allowed to use any magazines holding more than 10 rounds. This includes police officers and active duty military. For once we will all be on the same playing field. The police officers who shoot with us usually show up with some mags that us regulars could never get.
  11. You can also find 99.9% isopropyl alcohol at Fry's electronic stores. Its a bit pricier but usually in stock. I like a 10:1 ratio best. Rifle cases size real easy.
  12. Yeah the advertisement kinda sucks but its free and works for what I use it for so I just deal with it.
  13. I've used that app a few time and it works fairly well for what it is. I have recently downloaded and started using PS Timer Lite. It has a few features I like better than the other app such as a stop button instead of a stop slider and a voiced standby cue.
  14. I would send it back to Vortex, but first give them a call on Monday. Their CS is top notch and maybe they can walk you through the issue if there is one. I had a PST scope a few years back that had issues and they handled the whole situation very quickly. Thats the reason why I only use Vortex scopes now.
  15. The Magpul PRS or Luth-AR MBA-1 would be the 2 I would look at. I personally like the Magpul PRS
  16. Here you go. I chopped the belt behind the 2 studs. When i have the belt on and strapped down tight I have about an inch of clearance (about whats seen in the photo)
  17. I would look at the Under Armour Cold Gear glove liners. They are actually classified a liner but they are form fitting with a silicon palm. They are designed to be used in weather down to 32 degrees by them self so you can actually wear them under a set of thicker gloves if its really cold then take the outer gloves off when shooting and still have the liners on to keep you warm during the stage. https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/mens-coldgear-liner-gloves/pid1238031
  18. I've got my trigger on order, I went with the competition kit and IDP Flatline trigger. All the post's I've read all over the internet say this is the best feeling glock trigger. For $280 that I just spent I really hope so.
  19. A real light weight stock is the ACE Skeleton stock which weighs about 10.9oz or the ACE Ultralite which weighs about 6.8oz. I use the Skeleton and really like it, the foam is nice against the cheek and its a very solid design.
  20. I find myself reverting back to closing my non dominant eye when I start missing steel targets. I feel it makes me slow down a little bit and focus on the target and help with the hits.
  21. 1st Question - Why? 2nd Question - How? It's an interesting idea, it looks fragile. Don't drop it on a very hard surface.
  22. DAA 8-Pack Deluxe Magazine Holder, it holds eight mags then I keep a few in my range bag. I haven't found anything yet that hold 10+ mags. http://www.doublealpha.biz/daa-8-pack-deluxe-magazine-holder
  23. Yeah it seemed weird to me as well that when I purchased these it didn't include the chicago nuts. I ended up having to order them, I had no luck finding them in town. If you call Tim maybe he can send you some.
  24. UPDATE: Since I had no responses to this thread I called LAG Tactical. I am going to be stopping by their shop on either Wednesday or Thursday next week. They normally do not offer the Invictus hanger as one of their options. They want the hanger in hand so that they can custom make the holster and drill the appropriate holes to ensure that the mounting platform is stable. I will update the thread once I get the holster.
  25. I used the center hole on the Duece, I had to find a chicago nut to attach the screw to, I didn't have any ELS screws that were long enough so I had to use the ones supplied by Taccom, which were less than ideal since the head of the screw is smaller than what should be used with the ELS clips. I had to use washers to help prevent the screws from damaging the ELS clips. I attached a few photo's so you can see what I did.
