    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

I am very jealous that I will probably never get to own a Shadow 2 unless I pay a premium from someone who happens to bring one into California. Sometimes this State sucks
  2. I have the Timney AR-15 Competition trigger and really like it.
  3. I'm looking to get this trigger for my newly acquired G34, does anyone have experience with the DK competition kit and the IDP Flat Line trigger?
  4. I have the Rubber City Armory Titanium Black Ti Carrier and couldn't be happier. The carrier only weighs 5.8oz, with the bolt it weighs 7.8oz. Its a full M16 profile and doesn't need to be run "wet". Plus it has a Lifetime Warranty.
  5. +1 of CGW, what I really appreciate about them is the super fast shipping. Being on the other side of the country I know I'll have my order within 3 days of ordering it almost every time.
  6. I've been looking at this package for my soon to be acquired G34, just trying to figure if I want to send it in for all the work or piece together different options...decisions are tough.
  7. I started out with a Strike Eagle and switched over to the PST. The glass is clearer on the PST and I actually like the reticle better on the PST.
  8. Yeah those are the new grey/black grips. They look great in person
  9. I had Jayson at LOK grips whip these up for me, they are his new "thin" grips but cut for use on a CZ 75 with a magwell. The magwell is from CZ Custom and had a local Cerakote them. Jayson is fantastic to work with, so if you need anything custom from him I highly recommend it. These are extremely aggressive and just what I have been looking for.
  10. I went with an ELS belt and chopped it off and attached the Carbon Arms ratchet kit, BEST DECISION EVER. Not having the overlap on the belt is great, also being able to adjust the tension during a stage then loosen it after is great. Also having the strap directly behind the holster saves a ton of room on the belt and allows for better spacing of the ELS plates.
  11. +1 on the Carbon Arms, I just received mine a few days ago. I went with the SSXL set up since I have big hands. I switched from the Taccom "The Deuce" and so far I really like it. The release is supper smooth and it also allows me to work on quad loading and still load two during matches. With the extra depth of the SSXL clips I can finally grab 4 shells and not knock of other shells from the caddies l had tried in the past.
  12. I just received by ratchet kit today, know I just need to get my belt set up. For those of you who have installed it already did you keep the overlap portion of the belt and attach the ratchet or did you go full custom and trim the belt down so you had no overlap when you ratchet down the belt?
  13. This is an interesting concept, I like the idea of being able to get the belt adjustment just right. I always seem to be in the middle of holes on my ELS belt. One question what type of material is the belt made of? It almost looks like some sort of plastic.
  14. I put the perman spring in my SP 01 a few days ago, I am going to run it in a 3 gun comp this Saturday and am looking forward to the stiffer safety and not accidentally flipping the safety on or off when not wanting to.
  15. Here is mine, I wouldn't mind doing a bit more work to it. I would like to bevel the trigger guard a bit and take the non loading port side down a bit more.
  16. I had a similar issue with a bolt a few months ago, along with it failing to fully go into battery it also would fail to eject spent cases, the cases would be literally stuck to the bolt face. I checked several things including the ejector spring and extractor, and they were all fine, replaced them with known working parts and it still would happen. It ended up that the inner diameter of the bolt face was slightly undersized. It was cut at .374 while SAAMI specs for the rim are .378. When I had brass that had a rim of around .376 the cases would get stuck and it was hard to even force them onto the bolt face by hand. This was causing both the failure to go into full battery and the failure to eject the spent round. Rubber City was great about it all and I sent them the entire BCG and they replaced the bolt and since then I have had zero issues with several hundred rounds down range with it. Before it was happening at least once on every mag. None of the previous problems have come back.
