  1. Been loading on a pro 2000, which was fine but missed a case feeder, bought a 1050 off the classifieds, such a sweet machine, I have no experience on a650, but my nod goes to the 1050
  2. Quite a bit of sanding/ fitting on mine which is a sti frame my advice take it slow because you can't put material back, mine is a snug fit and no play but I don't need a mallet to install. Good luck and go slow
  3. Probably right with some minor changes, but I have no complaints but haven't tried any other mini dot
  4. That's awesome, I have been totally happy with mine, I wonder if the front housing has anything to due with longevity or just a body difference from the cmore
  5. I would be curious if there is a failure rate connection with the rts2 and the Romeo 3, I have had my r3 for 1.5 to 2 yrs and not a single issue, bright enough crisp dot, sips the battery, same mount pattern as the rts2, maybe just not as many out there for a high failure rate, but I am putting another on my new gun when compete
  6. There are a few good videos on YouTube to check your oal/ chamber legnth search those out and see what you come up with as far as your chamber length is concerned
  7. +1 on the new style STI mags, 38 super comp for me but in the lady three months, not a single malfunction, i run grams guts and your choice of base pad

    Dot Tracking?

having the dot return predictably is more important in my opinion obviously you don't want a bunch of flip and heavy dip, but being predictable is king in my book
  9. That's too much, some have a concoction of liquids they mix up and let it soak, you can get in there with a pick and small screw driver and scrap it out, what ever works to clean it up. Also try to usr fully jacketed bullets so there is no lead build up, you will always get carbon, but that looks lead heavy

    CO legal?

Hey guys I have a sp 01 that i purchased used two years ago, the previous owner converted it to Sao, so my question is if I add a optic plate is it legal in carry optics? Also it now wears a czc magwell, looking to go the co route for my 10 year old son but wasn't sure if it was legal or not with the current setup, i shoot open so I'm not well versed with the rules in co. Thanks for the clarification.
  12. I like the look of the hammer, very unique, great caliber choice also.
  13. Maybe totally unrelated, but I was using wsp magnum primers most of lasr season then the weather turned cold and i wad getting light strikes, then went to my stash of federal primers and have had zero issues since maybe you live in a warm area all year, but i have found cci to one of the hardest primers add some cold weather and maybe that's your issue like it was mine.
  14. No dpp at my club but there is a rts2, out didn't look any brighter then my r3, I'm sure they are all good personal preference, i was looking fire either ar3 or dpp 2.5 found ar3 of a sig ar for a great price so I bought it and had been running strong and bright ever since and not a single hiccup, so much so that I have a second in the sage already awaiting the arrival of my custom gun that is getting built. The only time my dot want visible was on the brightest sunny day when pointing at a wedgie target when the reflection of the white was at full force, not sure any dot would shine through that brightness
  15. My r3 had always been bright, there are allot of clones of the Romeo that cam be picked up on eBay for less then 100 bucks, I'm sure they are not the same quality or brightness. Not even sure how to tel one apart, my best guess would be the authentic one ous always stamped made in Japan on the bottom
  16. Drilled mine on a end mill, cleaned out burrs with a pick best i could, then shot a few rounds down the pipe and clean as a whistle, no accuracy suffer here.
  17. I use them they are on par with Montana gold such I like also, but at a little cheaper price they are good bullets, but the v2 seem to get out out stock to often

    Holster

I run a safariland 014 I like it, but it's what I picked up when I got the gun, it's not really what one or brand you get, just put the time in to practice so you have a efficient draw
  19. Can't go wrong with either, done failures are popping up with the dpp here and there, haven't heard amour any with the Romeo 3 yet but I am sure there are some, I was in your spot and settled on the sig because i came across a very lightly used one for a great price, so much so that i have another in the safe waiting for my custom gun to get done. Good either way
  20. If it's held up your probably legit, but on the bottom it will be stamped made in Japan, the sig sign can be one of two designs, depending on the rider it came with
  21. I run just some safety rated sunglasses that are my daily work glasses they are polarized, I habe never had any issues with setting my Romeo 3 dot in any condition unless it's a blue sky bright sunny day and I am aiming at a white target, I don't try to do that on purpose though. Maybe your battery is low, or be sure that your Romeo is genuine and not a knock off, they are out there and hard to tell the difference.
  22. Friend of mine has same gun and just started using aa7 i think he us at 10.3 grains @1.235 oal
  23. Go do some manual labor for a bit and build up some callous that along with daily dry fire you will not feel like it is to aggressive it will be just right.
  24. Load above is a1375 fps with a124 gr8 everglades hp
  25. My trubor with a t2 comp and three popple holes, I currently load 10.2 gr aa7 to 1.235 oal 170 pf, shoots flat and predictable dot movement
