My CO guns all have plates. I can go between open and CO with no problems. I never understood the the obsession with getting the dot low. Also machining a slide for one dot pattern locks you in.

I've done it a number of times. Mine were always fine.

This I've used many others including motor oil. This stuff feels the best when I rack the slide. If that matters at all.

Stock 2 I can easily change between my 2011 open gun and my Stock 2 CO gun, not quite a 1911 though.

I added a layer of Gorilla Glue construction adhesive to the back of my skateboard tape. Add a little heat when installing the tape and it doesn't come off. I then wrap the grip with rubber bands until the glue sets. Works great. The glue can easily be removed when replacing tape.

Carry Optics killed production in USPSA. I'm guessing the 15 round limit in SSP is to keep it relevant.

See that ring around the primer pocket. That is what the crimp looks like and what to watch out for. I've also seen it on some Aquilla and I believe some Winchester. Good luck

Which Chrono do you have? My Caldwell started recording rounds all over the place. Some as high as 180 like you. I have a CED now.

I installed a large frame magwell on a small frame. It doesn't fit perfect. I had the same dilemma. I installed a nut on the screw inside the frame to keep the magwell from moving. Not perfect but it works.

I was able to get my hands on CCI 41 primers. Has anyone tried these? Are they any harder to light off than other SRP?

I'm still using gen 1 Deltapoints on two CO pistols with 10's of thousands of rounds through them.

Try this, it works for me. Do everything you're doing to clean the threads and screws. My final cleaning is always acetone. Use your blue loctite on the screw threads. I also get Gorilla glue construction adhesive. I spread it on the top part of the screw just under the head. The loctite adheres the screw to the threads, the glue secures the screw to the body of the dot. Take a Q-tip and remove the excess glue around the screw after torquing. The screws are easily removed.

I believe Henning sells a multiple spring pack. If you need the stock return spring, get the reduced power.
