Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Order an 8 pound Wolff gun spring directly from https://www.gunsprings.com/
  2. You can send a live round via FEDEX or UPS if you had deliver it to their location and tell them. You will need the symbol on the outside of the box, and it must go surface transportation.
  3. What Bul advertises is probably correct. New mags take some time to relax the spring to get the last round in. See if pressing harder gets the last round in and let the mag set overnight with 18 rounds, or run it full a few times. Your other option may be MBX magazines. I use them for my SAS ll OPEN, 9mm and they work as advertised.
  4. Agree with BritinUSA. Consider a 1 degree shim, if the Cmore mounting base will accommodate one.
  5. I solved the "thumb hit" issue by heating it up with a small torch and bending it to where I wanted.
  6. I was at the range last week and the guy next to me noticed my Bul Armory SAS ll Open. He had an Atlas pistol and asked if we could try each others guns. That was the first time that I had fired an Atlas. The gun felt smooth and solid. It was very nice, but I would not be willing to pay the price of admission for the slight difference that I felt. He was pleased with the performance and feel of my Bul Armory, and VERY surprised with it's much lower cost; about half! If money is no object, there are full custom pistols that I would choose before the Atlas offerings.
  7. I agree with Duck_Duckalo. I got my Bul Armory SAS ll UR for the same reasons and have the enjoyment of using it to target shoot at my local indoor range. I run Fiocchi 115 grain 1200 fps ammo. With a 7 pound recoil spring I get perfect mechanical performance.
  8. Great to find craftsmen who can make it happen. Thanks for the information.
  9. Yes, I have seen posts about major hot loads punishing the frame. Thanks for the warning. ... I shoot 115 grain 1200 fps FMJ at the range. Recoil spring is down to 7 pounds. No competition loads for my pistol, just the enjoyment of shooting such a sweet looking and running pistol. You don't have to compete to enjoy an open pistol.
  10. Overkill66, I felt the same way. I bought a Bul Armory SAS ll UR. AMAZING pistol. Glad that I made the change. There is no comparison.
  11. Yes, I loved the large glass on the C-More, but sideways always felt and looked weird, plus adjustments were not simple. It did the job of lowering the window.
  12. If you want to keep the C-More, see if the Toni System mounts will align with your frame mounting holes.
  13. I agree. They are very well made, with excellent fit and finish.
