  1. CO Gen1 DP, Venom Open RTS2, DPP size doesn't matter LOL, or so I tell the wife
  2. If you dry fire more the size of the window won't matter.
  3. Shot IDPA last night, USPSA tonight and Highpower this Saturday. Shoot what you want, have fun. Its winter by the way.
  4. Show them the pictures and send them back
  5. When you say easily rubs off, what does that mean? The coating flakes right off to bare lead? If that is the case something went wrong with the application. I don't believe they will be fixed by reheating, trying won't hurt them. you can try a smash test before using them again. Take a bullet and smash it flat with a hammer, the coating should stay on. See the coating flake off in the red bullet, it should look like the others.
  6. There are several local clubs that allow you to shoot twice in their monthly match. You just can't win the recreational vehicle with your second entry.
  7. Get a DAA shooting vest. They work great. https://www.doublealpha.biz/us/daa-shooting-vest
  8. Thanks Mike. I'm going for this look. Looks like the CFD comp.
  9. I just noticed Patriot Defense has listed a Long cone threaded barrel for sale. I want to convert my Gold Custom in 38 to 9mm. What are my chances of success? Compensator, Bidell, CFD, Cheely?
  10. It's fun to do it to your buddies on practice night. You know they haven't seen a missed steel. They are clearly done shooting and you give them the iiiifffffff, they know whats up, look around and you can see the disappointment is in their body language. It has happened to me too. At a club/monthly and above match, no.
  11. I just cast and coated 10,000 9mm. And now my 2 month old bullet orders are coming in. I'm currently swimming. Hope you all fare as well.
  12. I've used the dielectric grease trick. However, it is not a conductive grease. It prevents against corrosion, which may be happening in our connections. I use it, it works. It is not conductive.
  13. My friends G34 had leading from coated bullets. The Tanfos must be a little different. In my six Tanfo barrels, there is no leading after Tens of thousands of coated both minor and major.
  14. Ordered a case of .356 125 RN 8/1, due 10/8.
  15. Do they have lube in a groove? If so, a little smokey. That's where this all started. You'll be fine.
  16. I took a very cautious approach to 9 major over a year ago. I only used once fired, one headstamp brass. It was Federal and Blazer. After burning up my supply of once fired and having no issues with brass I've since tried a different tactic. I've gone to my pail of brass and sorted out Fed, Blazer, Speer, Win, Starline and RP. I save the once fired for major matches. No problems so far.
  17. I don't recommend the 358-150 mold for 9mm. I have run them before, but I don't recommend. Try the 356-120 TC mold, works great in 9mm. Saves on lead too.
