  1. Patriot Defense sells threaded bull barrels. If yours is a standard barrel, you can buy a six inch barrel and have it cut and threaded
  2. I'm in a ban state. Everyone shoots dots. Here is the breakdown to our January indoor money match. Most of the production shooters were new.
  3. That sucks. You might have got your moneys worth
  4. Go with the Stock 2 It is now legal for IDPA
  5. That is excellent!! Any chance you can give us a run down on the different brass you've measured?
  6. I noticed this when cleaning the other day. A crack has formed under the extractor. This slide has around 15,000 rounds through it. Any experience with this problem? Any idea how much longer it will take to completely break off? If it does break off will it still run? Is it possible the crack extends to the outside of the slide? Thanks
  7. .357 coated bullet case .010-.012 .377-.381" not too much
  8. how does the rear of the cylinder gap look top and bottom?
  9. My Stock 2 has lightening cuts in the slide, aluminum guide rod, aluminum PD palm swell grips with plastic screws, aluminum base pads, Nitro fin, flat one side safety, aluminum dovetail mount and a Gen 1 Delta point. It comes in just under 45 ounces and fits in the box.
  10. Ditch the racker. It's a crutch and not needed. You'll get used to no racker.
  11. The frame angle should be similar to the Shadow.
  12. The Limpro is an excellent choice for both. Should be under 45 ounces. All fire control upgrades are legal in both sports. You can easily put $400 into your trigger for all the goodies. It's up to you how far you want to go. Have you thought about a dovetail plate? Just for comparison, my stock 2 fits in the box with a Nitro fin on it and is under 45 ounces.
  13. What cases are you loading into? That could matter.
  14. The cylinder on my 929 measures .357". I size my bullets to .3565-.3568. They seem to shoot just fine.
  15. I have two totally different rigs for each doesn't seem to matter
  16. Send it back to STI They've been very good to me on warranty issues
  17. When I was looking for a back up for my 2011 I bought a Tanfo open gun. It's not a checkmate but similar. I shoot Tanfo's in CO. I sold the Tanfo and bought another 2011.
  18. Try adding Gorilla glue construction adhesive around the racker/slide. This may help take up some of the slop and add a little cushioning. It comes apart easy too.
  19. Only a guess, but at 25 rounds, I'd say no.
