  1. By the time you get atlas to work over a gun and everything you want added you are almost in the custom territory. Just remember that the gun is the cheapest part of our sport. Ammo, match fees, travel all add up very quickly. I always say to beg, plead, and borrow as many guns as you can before you decide to buy something of your own. Figure out exactly what you like and want and order that. Every ones shooting style is different. I prefer the two extremes, a short dust cover super light or an all metal heavy monster.
  2. Bullets forward. I bounce between a few different divisions and sometimes play in IPSC so I keep everything behind the bone for consistencies sake.
  3. Which is your duty Glock? You could always run the same gun if you wanted.
  4. Yes, as long as they are behind the hip bone.
  5. DAA outer belt with a CR inner. Racemaster holster. CR pouches. The best set up I've found trying out all of the different companies.
  6. Buy a set of JP springs for about $10 and enjoy your trigger at about 4.5 pounds. That plus cleaning it up and you should be set for a while.
  7. Especially in Florida I've been to at least 5 majors where it's a torrential downpour one day while being beautiful the next. And I started in 13 but have ROed a few of the big matches in the area.
  8. The classic target is a legal one in our rule book. Can always just populate more of our stages with these types in the wet months.
  9. If price is out the window get a Mark7 super 1050.
  10. With STI tubes I run the Dawson +1 SNL but with SV tubes I run the +1 since they might fail the gauge.
  11. I have done a pseudo retro mod on all of my hoppers on my 650. Only because I still have the old single bend bar on it. So much better than the clunky clack of the new style.
  12. I ended up pulling a .cvs file, making a new match, and importing only the pertinent information to the machines. Time crunch didn't let for a pretty fix but it worked.
  13. UM tactical is in the works of testing out their tunable 9mm comp. Running their .223 and 308 ones are stupid fun and fully expect to have the same performance out of a 9mm one.
  14. Again Taccom for the chest rig but be weary they are handedness dependent. Most of the other manufacturers are easy to do strong or weak loading on the fly.
  15. Plastic is much more violent in open running 9 major. If you build a .40 then it's bearable but lose to capacity.
  16. Second for Taccom I run the Duelin Dueces for strong quads. for weak 2 I use an EZ8 on the belt.
  17. 5 stages $20 for members $30 for non. We have to haul out and set up stages at 0730 and tear everything down by 1300 if not the range charges the club double.
  18. Has anybody seen this error code come up when trying to import a match registration to an android? Also I get an error 500 when trying to pull the same match to an iPhone. All of my other matches are fine.
  19. I've heard that Rick over in homestead will let you do it at any time he is at the range.
  20. When this happens I have 100 draw from holster repetitions, I don't even slow fire those.
  21. Small rifle run in the open gun with no problem.
  22. Looks very nice. If you don't mind my asking why did you go for a factory gun if you were planning on changing so much? Did you price out a custom build? I would think that the prices would have been pretty close between this and what one of the big smiths.
  23. But it isn't, you have slide cuts with grip reductions neither of which are allowed in Prod. I feel like this division turned into a restricted open.
