  1. I've used extra fiber optic cuz it came out but I carry a backup to all matches and just go to it. I keep spare things as peace of mind I guess??? Or just to say I got spares maybe??? No rhyme or reason to my madness sometimes
  2. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=188986&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  3. I don't know about the slide part but I converted my Stock III in .40 to SAO and was easy. Use it as backup to my Limited gun and I think the Stock III in 9mm would make a great 3-gun pistol with SA trigger and magwell added
  4. I'm surprised that even these large frame ones showed up and even more that they are in 9mm
  5. I have a Stock III in .40 large frame. They pop up from time to time, I've shot it the least of all mine except my Tanfo 1911 cuz been mostly a production shooter. Hope to trade in in on a Limited .40 so I have an identical backup gun for Limited division
  6. I am running the Bladetech one that fits the limited. I would get it from Ben Stoeger Pro Shop with the two tightening screws as it's not as perfect a fit as say my Stock II bladetech holster. I just will tighten them a tad after I holster just to make it feel a little more secure then at LAMR, I will loosen little. It's a great holster for using both the Stock III and Limited
  7. Did you not get the memo???? http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=211774 Evidently not, damn. I want one now but I got enough Tanfos, lol. Well, you can never have enough
  8. Good luck finding a Stock 3 in 9mm but no need for any changes to mags. Polish up according to all the info found on Enos, change front sight (I recommend the 2.5mm EG front sight) and few other parts and go shoot. I shot my Stock 3 in .40 minor and shot very soft. I got another Stock II or else I would still be using it in production PS- if you happen to want a Stock III to shoot .40 minor on production let me know;-)
  9. I guess I was unaware of a special interruptor going with the one piece sear. I only have just used the factory one and given it a good polish on the friction points. My DA on my Stock II's are both around 5.75# if memory serves me correct and SA is in the 2.0-2.25# range. I don't have a fancy trigger pull gauge but that's close. I like the delta hammer but put the Xtreme on both mine and I noticed a little improvement in SA but the hammer seems to hit harder and reliability is more paramount to me then trigger weight. On a side note and not meaning to thread hijack but if anyone has a Limited in .40 or a Gold team in .38 super that's in great condition I have a Stock II in 9mm and a Stock III in .40 I'd entertain trades for.
  10. The wait is killing me, lol. I hope my M3000 makes it before my next and prolly last 3-gun match until the fall. Looking forward to it coming ready to go from MOA
  11. It's the screw that came with the EG flat trigger I installed on the Limited. It's not a flat nose but a pointy one
  12. Thanks guys. Nealio, no the plunger was in correct position. I am starting to think that the pre/over travel screws could be the issue. I am gonna check them and then test fire and see if that caused the issue, plan on putting at least 100+ rounds through and if it's flawless then I will try at a match again. One other thing that started happening lately was at LAMR or when I would reload to a full mag during a stage, the round would get stuck trying to chamber. It has all been case gauged and I can bump the back of the slide and it will chamber but wondering if the recoil spring is too light shooting major now. I have an 8# in there right now I believe, I'd have to check when get back to the hacienda. It only happens when it's a full mag of 20 rounds that it will not want to chamber fully. Does having too light of a recoil spring possibly have any correlation to this phenomenom?
  13. I don't think so Atlas. I guess possibly that screws may have over time started twisting out. I had loctited them I thought but will check that as well tonight. Thanks
  14. Wanted to get some of the resident gunsmiths opinions. I shot my Limited at the Alabama sectional last Saturday and racked up 42 penalties on 2 stages because my gun broke. I have not had any issues with my Limited since I got it. Everything was working fine then all of a sudden the trigger would not reset nor fire. I don't have a clicky pen spring in it as a plunger spring and I cleaned the gun thoroughly last week. I would rack the slide and the hammer would not fall. I took it to the safe area and I remember having the slide back and took my finger and pushed down on the plunger and felt a click and then it started working normally. Dry fired and racked it prolly 75 times at the safe area and it worked fine. Went to the next stage and got 3/4 finished and then the same thing happened at which time I swapped to my backup gun. Anyways, what do you think possibly could be the culprit? I took the pistol apart yesterday and the plunger spring seemed fine, cleaned out the channel the plunger goes in and it was dirty but not tremendously. I took the plunger apart and where the small pin goes in the top to keep plunger depressed had all I can describe was a little rough edge so I took some fine grit sandpaper and smoothed it out. I can't think of another culprit. If the plunger was not coming all the way back up after firing this would cause the trigger not to reset properly correct? Thanks Gump
  15. Ok, do you know if the safety roll pins are able to get somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot? Are they like a standard size that can be used for other purposes? Thanks Atlas
  16. Does anyone have an extra screw that fits on the factory magwell? Mine got stripped. Also anyone have some extra safety roll pins laying around? Thanks Gump
  17. I run 1.135 in both my 9mm Stock II and in Limited .40 using Bayou 147's for 9mm and Bayou 180's for .40 and my Tanfos love the Bayous. I have had no issues that weren't operator error, lol
  18. I took the FPB out, put a Henning XL FP in and run the EG medium hammer spring and light FP spring and have had no light strikes using Feds and Winchesters
  19. I just noticed looking in the catalog that the Stock III has a 4.75 inch barrel but the Stock III Extreme is only 4.5 inches long. I wonder why the 1/4 inch difference?
  20. That would have been nice to get a 9mm conversion to put on my Stock III to use for 3-gun, lol
  21. EG "light" hammer and FP spring with Henning XL FP has popped every federal I've had. I pretty much have accepted that Feds are the choice in my Stock II's but use Winchesters in my other Tanfos. If you have issues with that setup then try the EG "medium" spring possibly. And if that don't work I got an Extreme model (cerakoted) Stock II that I'll trade you for your chrome one;-) since I'm a Limited and open whore now
  22. From EAA but I don't know if they import the hi-cap 9mm mags. I've seen them I think on Tanfos website but not EAA's site.
  23. I used to run the Wolf and tried many different combos along with clipping coils etc. and I still got light strikes. Ever since I put the EG light hammer and FP springs in my Stock II's I haven't had a single light strike that I remember. And I didn't pile up extra trigger pull weight in the process. The trigger feels the same if not better with the EG than the Wolff combos but just my personal opinion and my experiences. Being reliable is what will keep me using them but I would also say it wouldn't be bad to add a Henning XL firing pin with it
