  1. Wanna buy it? I don't want to sell it in case I do want to shoot Production in the future and don't want to then overpay to buy another one. For a $125 trigger from Hennings I can use it as SA if I want, then just convert it back to DA/SA in a few minutes when I decide I want to shoot Prod. This is my line of thinking as well because the conversion is so simple. It takes hardly any time at all and having a gun to use for multiple divisions/applications etc is not a bad thing but just MHO
  2. I'm sure someone will buy it and they'll have made a nice profit but guess that's the beauty of capitalism
  3. I sure hope it's not! But I do notice they pull the description from somewhere, and it says polygonal rifling. I hate it when a company isn't consistent about how they advertise, or manufacture a product. It was definitely a let down to find my new S3 didn't come with it... It honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was one
  4. I wonder if this is one of the 21 Stock III's that came in? They got it on GB quick if so http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=475595541
  5. I didn't change anything else. I would recommend the EG SA trigger. I have the one that's slightly curved with checkering vs flat. I love it. You can go up to heavier hammer spring if got light strikes but what I posted was all I did plus a magwell
  6. Simply take out the FPB, the disconnecter, and put a SA trigger and your good to go. That's what I did with my Stock III
  7. So I don't necessarily want to post a classified ad but does anyone have any interest in trading a Tanfoglio Limited in .40 for a Stock III in .40? Or I have an extra Stock II in 9mm that I may would trade depending on the deal. Want to have my backup gun for Limited to match my primary gun. Just let me know. Thanks Gump
  8. How much does he charge for one of those holsters? Can he make on to fit the Stock III?
  9. I have a silver one that came off my Limited that I don't use and don't plan on using if you're interested
  10. Henning has been in Europe for a few weeks I heard so that may be part of the wait time on magwells
  11. I use slide glide on the rails, on the "bean on the barrel", the locking lugs on the slide, and a little spread on the slide stop. Then I use gun oil or Cudalube with a drop down the back of the hammer, light coat around barrel, and down each side of trigger bar that rubs against the frame. Be very light if use Cudalube as doesn't take much. It works good to me as its like its right between a lube like slide glide and an oil like Hoppes or something
  12. Well you really only have 2 options in production. The factory trigger or the Eric Grauffel Extreme DA trigger. I had the extreme trigger on mine and ended up going back to the factory trigger. Either sold it or it's in a pile of parts. I didn't notice a difference in trigger pull weight but more just the feel and location of the trigger. I liked it at first but just never got 100% used to it and was glad when I went back to the factory trigger
  13. I got an extra factory one as well but no screw as the one I had with it got stripped. Wanting to add it to my Stock III
  14. My Stock III in .40 has had some of the same issues. Y'all have given me some ideas to fix this problem as I figured my .40 was just finicky, lol
  15. Does anyone have an extra Henning magwell they'd want to part with? Seems to be out of stock everywhere. Thanks Gump
  16. I have a pair of Stock II's in 9mm and a Stock III in .40 and now in 9mm. I can tell a difference in the weight but it's more towards the front of the gun. Once I do a trigger job on my 9mm and get it competition ready I am gonna do some side by side shooting with them but I don't think it'll be a huge difference. I do like it being a little longer.
  17. So did anyone who got one of these Stock III's going to replace their Stock II with it in Production?
  18. I really like the Extreme trigger. I got the one with the slight curve at the bottom along with checkering and I am eventually going to put the same on my Stock III in .40 and my Gold Team. I have the Henning on my gold team now and it's good but too thin compared to the Extreme and I also like that slight curve. Well worth it and easy to install
  19. If you get the Stock III holster your limited will fit in it or least mine does. I sometimes have to use the adjusting screws but it's not an imposition, I usually tighten after a stage anyways and then loosen before LAMR
  20. Ok, never mind, I see on website what your saying, I can't confirm but that sear doesn't look to have leg to engage FPB
  21. I am unaware of a one piece sear that doesn't engage FPB. The one here has the leg at top right if looking downward that engages FPB. All one piece Sears I've gotten engage it
  22. No, the sear isn't SAO. I have one piece sear in all mine.
  23. When you spend $200 on a hotel, $100 on a match fee, and $100 on gas to shoot a major match, there is a peace of mind to having a back up gun and/or spare parts I learned first hand importance of a backup gun at the Alabama Sectional. Drove 6+ hours and my gun stopped on the 4th stage and so I wouldn't have finished without my backup Stock III.
  24. Can someone confirm if this makes it SAO, or if it just disables the safety? What are you asking if "makes SAO"?
