  1. I put it in and I think it was worth the upgrade. When I've used lighter hammer springs sometimes my hammer won't end up flush on the back plate after firing. It's like the FP pushes it back out. I don't wanna cut off too many coils off FP spring either. Put the Gen4 in and the hammer ends up flush. I think being lighter and the little extra length will be good, no light strikes since using it but didn't have any with my gen3 Henning pin either
  2. That's awesome, my Titan oughta come in today hopefully and anxious to see how it goes, last piece needed for one my Stock III's
  3. If it's a 9mm Stock II or III then be ready to pull trigger immediately if you find one. Any other you can find by doing a little googling. The II and III in 9mm usually don't last an hour on Enos classifieds it seems. But you can find them........I own 4:-)
  4. Gotcha nealio, thanks. I am setting up my pair of Stock III's for Production and was just curious, was a random thought, lol
  5. Turned out very nice, anxious to here how it performs.
  6. Just noticed that was 666th post so just saying hello again, I am superstitious
  7. So the clipped FP spring would be facing me if I am pointing the gun right? Yea I always take a little sanding stone and rub off any sharp edges and smooth out when I clip any springs. I just wondered if say the hammer or plunger spring that had been clipped would affect trigger pull weight or performance depending on which end it was facing. Thanks
  8. I was wondering when any of y'all are running a coil clipped hammer spring or firing pin spring, which end do you put the clipped section? Such as with a hammer spring, do you put the clipped end down into the channel or have it on the opposite end over the strut? Or with the FP spring, do you have the clipped end facing forward or backwards on the firing pin? Hope I am making sense. Or does it matter? Has anyone noticed any effects one way or another doing this?
  9. The old style wood grips are much better than the new ones in my opinion. Those and the Extreme are only ones I have used as the Extreme fits me well. I did have a set of the aluminum that came with my Gold Team and they were nice, maybe a little thicker than the Extreme but not much. Some have taken the rubber grips that come on some of the "Tanfo Matches" and stippled them and fit to Stock II's or Lim Pros, their are pics on one of the threads here.
  10. Oh really, that would be sweet. I just like even though it's meniscule the extra length and lighter weight to give any extra assurance of lighting off primers when trying to reduce the trigger weight on Tanfos. I will contact Henning. Thanks dude
  11. I put new Henning FP in last night and fit perfect. I also noticed that sometimes when I'm running light springs the hammer will not end up flush against the retainer plate. I could push it in forward ever so slightly and this was case with my Gen3 Henning XL FP. After put the new one in I couldn't push hammer forward, it would end up flush so I think it's gonna work better. I'll be putting new ones in my other Stock III and Stock II soon. If anyone would rather the Gen3 I'll trade them. Have 1 that's brand new and another that maybe shot 300 rounds with.
  12. I am definitely going to check my Stock III for anything like that. I am still hopeful my FTF are simply needing to break in. I have the MS Classic in 4 weeks but I am not going to try and shoot this until I have at least 500 rounds thru it without any FTF's
  13. I have purchased A LOT from the Pro shop and they have better shipping than any other shooting related company I have ever dealt with. I usually get notifications that my order has been packaged and assigned a tracking number within an hour of ordering and I have never had to use anything but USPS priority which is usually the cheapest option.
  14. I remember when I first got my Stock II that when I had mind loaded to 1.135 for my G34 they wouldn't feed/fit in my Tanfo and I had to go to 1.125 and ran perfect at that length. I'm trying the 1.125 length in my Stock III and if after I break it in some more and still have feed issues I'll shorten to 1.115. I did do some polishing such as feed ramp, the hood on top of barrel, extractor as pointed out by others on here and hope the combo of that along with simply shooting it will fix the problems. That sux your pistol having so many feed issues after putting a good bit of rounds thru it.
  15. Did the top bullets in the mag your referring to look like this?
  16. Oh, too technical terms for me, lol. I think I got an Extreme one somewhere and if do I'll measure
  17. Yea, locked back slide the barrels do flop, nothing to worry over
  18. I would like to get another Limited one day in 9mm for 3-gun. I think it'd make a great pistol for that. Pics look pretty boss!!!
  19. I will put the sear and spring in, put the pin in far enough to keep sear steady then use Glock tool and thread thru opposite side and once lined up push the pin thru and easy done. Definitely wouldn't remove material from safety when fitting sear. It's a tedious process but sears are much cheaper and it doesn't take a whole lot off sear to get safety to work properly.
  20. I had to get a special basepad made to be legal and even with grams guts, best I've got is 27 in it. When I had put the Tanfo Aluminum base pads on with grams springs I could get 29 but was a tad too long. This was .38 super by the way. Tanfo makes a big stick in 9mm but can't be imported to the USA
  21. I have a 10# recoil spring in mine and I am going to test it soon as possible. I usually run a 9# in my Stock II's but with the FTF's I have had in my Stock III it was best I thought to maybe go up a little to see if that would help the issue. I have been running the EG Light hammer and FP springs in my Stock II's and they have been reliable. I have done the polishing job on my III, put one piece sear, delta hammer, extended FP, coil clipped off plunger spring, light sear spring and CGW trigger return spring and my DA was still a lot heavier than my Stock II's. So for experimentation yesterday, I clipped off 1 coil off the EG hammer spring and it lightened it up very nicely. The hammer did not seem to be hitting the FP hard enough so I clipped off 2 coils off the FP spring. I am gonna see when I go to the range if it will set off fed primers with that setup reliably and if not then back to drawing board, lol.
